Harry escorted Leon out of the front yard, a gentle smile on his face as he watched him leave.
Leon took a few steps, looked back repeatedly, dragging his feet with an air of reluctance.
Regret was now written all over his face.
Having a powerful individual like Harry living next door, radiating such strong yang energy—even if it was just the remnants—was like a bonus for his feng shui rather than a hindrance. Had he known earlier, he wouldn't have meddled at all.
But now, he was left with no choice but to help investigate for Harry. After all, if someone so strong was being monitored without even realizing it, whoever was behind it surely wasn't some easy prey.
He might be escaping a tiger's den, only to land in a wolf's lair.
"If you don't want to go, that's fine too," Harry's voice drifted lightly from behind him. "You can just flee if you like. I won't stop you."
