"Hey, Victor?"
"I'm almost there. Let's talk in person."
After hanging up, Harry walked downstairs and saw Victor's car pull into the driveway, parking in one of the side spaces.
Carrying a small fish tank with two golden-red fish inside, Victor also had a takeout bag in hand.
"A housewarming gift," he said, placing the fish tank in the living room. "You mentioned wanting one, so I figured I'd get it on the way. Thought you might not have eaten, so I brought some food too."
Harry couldn't help but raise an eyebrow. "Don't tell me you didn't know about the place behind this one. Living here feels like I'm right in front of someone's grave."
Victor nodded casually, unfazed.
"Of course, I know. This place has been here forever, but no one's ever lived in it. Isn't it perfect? Quiet and secluded."
Suddenly, Victor seemed to catch on.
"Wait, you brought this up earlier today… Are you seriously concerned about it now?"
