Camelia's gaze lingered on the departing duo; her eyes fixated on Zayne until he vanished behind the closing door.

As soon as the door closed, Camelia deployed a barrier around the place to ensure she did not cause any trouble while doing her work.

She knew that Zayne was standing just outside the door, and he had more than half his attention aimed toward what was happening inside than outside of here.

Despite this, Camelia decided she did not want to cause any trouble and would rather deal with Zayne than a potential mess before someone who was not supposed to be there showed up.

Once she was sure that she had everything in order, she decided to start her investigation.

Camelia's hand rested on Claris's chest, a conduit for her magic to flow through Claris's body.
