The night passed by quietly.

The next day, Amelia was browsing the news with interest. "Brother, it's said that because the mist had lightened, many people had become braver and come out."

"That's because they're stupid." Samuel was very direct.

Amelia: "…"

Riya chuckled but she didn't participate in their conversation. She was checking her thesis and continued to gather some other documents that she might need. With Samuel standing here, she felt a bit uncomfortable to meditate in the morning.

She will wait until it was time for Amelia to start practicing.

"When I can come back? I miss Mom and Dad." Amelia flopped on the sofa and looked at the phone in her hand. She was so bored here and could only chat with her parents through phones.

While it did alleviate some of her loneliness, it couldn't replace the time when she spent her time with them personally.
