31.25% The Young Madam Went on a Spending Spree Again Today / Chapter 5: How Can One Endure Such Insults!

章節 5: How Can One Endure Such Insults!

"What did Grandpa just say to you?" Mo Lanlan asked, gripping Leng Rongrong's arm.

"Who are you? What does it have to do with you?" Leng Rongrong shrugged off Mo Lanlan's hand, disdainfully wiping her wrist on Mo Lanlan's sleeve.

Mo Lanlan's eyelids twitched slightly as she fixed her cold gaze on Leng Rongrong. "What Grandpa says is of no concern to you, but did he bestow any of the Mo family's wealth upon you? The Mo family's fortune cannot be given away carelessly; produce what Grandpa has given you!"

With this remark, others from the Mo family were drawn to the scene, and in an instant, Leng Rongrong found herself surrounded by a throng.

"What did the old man give you?" Ye Qiushu squeezed to the front of the crowd, her eyes scanning Leng Rongrong like lasers, eager to penetrate her very being.

"What could he possibly give? He gave me nothing!" Leng Rongrong scoffed.

Mo Lanlan attempted to push through and search Leng Rongrong, but she was shoved away.

"Get away!"

"How dare you push me? You, a mere wife of a waste, think you can lay hands on me?" Mo Lanlan stared at Leng Rongrong in disbelief. "Where are the bodyguards? Have they all died? They must have stolen something! Surely they have taken other items as well!"

A few bodyguards rushed in, surrounding Leng Rongrong and Mo Linyuan's car.

"Search! Find everything they have taken, or they shall not be allowed to leave!" Mo Lanlan commanded.

The bodyguards obeyed, rummaging through Mo Linyuan's belongings, and even searching through Leng Rongrong's suitcase without mercy.

Leng Rongrong's face darkened with anger as her clothes were strewn about; that wretched Mo Lanlan had even pulled her lingerie out to display.

But it did not end there; Mo Lanlan ordered them to search her person.

Leng Rongrong's face turned a shade of green with fury.

"Are you out of your mind? I was only in your house for one night; what could I possibly have taken? Why don't you tell me what's missing? Or should we call the police and investigate?"

Advancing step by step toward Mo Lanlan, she forced her to retreat several steps, until Mo Lanlan stumbled and fell onto the ground.

"Why don't you admit to stealing something? Oh, I just remembered—I seem to be missing a necklace from my suitcase, one worth millions. You didn't take it, did you?"

Squatting down, Leng Rongrong feigned shock as she looked at Mo Lanlan. "You've stolen from me? We must report this to the police! Or perhaps we should conduct a search first?"

As she spoke, Leng Rongrong began to pat down Mo Lanlan, thoroughly searching her and deliberately disheveling her clothing.

Seizing Mo Lanlan's bra, Leng Rongrong yanked it fiercely.

Miraculously, she managed to pull Mo Lanlan's undergarment free.

With numerous Mo family members and bodyguards around, Mo Lanlan gasped, flustered and furious. "Leng Rongrong, you wretched woman!"

With a flick of her wrist, Leng Rongrong tossed the bra onto a bodyguard's head, sneering contemptuously. "My apologies, I thought you might be hiding something in there, but it seems not. Do you still want to search? If not, we shall take our leave."

Seeing that Leng Rongrong was not to be trifled with, the Mo family fell silent.

In a few swift motions, Leng Rongrong gathered her and Mo Linyuan's belongings, turned, and entered the car, instructing the driver to take them away.

**Two hours later.**

A troubled expression clouded Leng Rongrong's exquisite features as she surveyed their luggage, discarded on the ground at the entrance. Mo Linyuan was also left there, both him and his wheelchair tossed aside.

Leng Rongrong herself had been unceremoniously ejected from the vehicle.

She stared at this so-called impressive villa, a sanctuary, her face darkening in dismay.

The villa, undeniably large, appeared somewhat antiquated, showing signs of long neglect; the garden was overgrown with weeds, and the surrounding area was desolate. It was merely a single villa…

Life here must be extraordinarily inconvenient, though the scenery around it was relatively pleasant.

Leng Rongrong glanced at Mo Linyuan, wanting to voice a few complaints, but upon seeing his miserable state, she thought better of it. He was in a far worse situation.

After all, she had little connection to the Mo family, so being cast aside here wasn't entirely surprising; however, Mo Linyuan was supposed to be one of the Mo family's four young masters.

While the other young masters lived carefree lives, he had been rendered disabled and abandoned in such a place to fend for himself.

Not even a servant was provided.

In the past, Mo Linyuan, as one of the four young masters of the Mo family, was a well-known heir; now, however, he had lost his inheritance from the Mo Corporation and was left as a disabled man, utterly destitute.

How tragic.

Mo Linyuan sensed the sympathy in Leng Rongrong's eyes and coldly said, "I do not require your pity. Tang Luo, take me inside."

Leng Rongrong: "???"

Though a disabled man, his temper was quite fierce, exuding an air of pride.

Tang Luo pushed Mo Linyuan's wheelchair toward the house.

Meanwhile, Leng Rongrong dutifully began to gather their belongings strewn on the ground, refusing to argue with a disabled person.

Once she finished tidying up, Leng Rongrong took her suitcase and stepped inside the villa.

The villa, once elegantly decorated, now lay in disarray.

Having been uninhabited for a long time, it was filled with cobwebs and thick layers of dust; although some areas showed signs of wear, living there should not pose a problem.

After a quick inspection, Leng Rongrong remarked, "With some cleaning, it could be livable. Tang Luo, will you help me tidy up?"

"Yes, young madam," Tang Luo nodded in agreement.

Tang Luo was said to have been Mo Linyuan's former assistant, and since his accident, he had become Mo Linyuan's caretaker— the sole individual dispatched by the Mo family to attend to his daily needs.

It was somewhat ludicrous that a prestigious family like the Mos had sent only this one person to look after Mo Linyuan.

It was evident that they were targeting him due to his disability.

The house was vast, and since Leng Rongrong insisted on cleaning every corner, they began from the upper floors, working their way down.

Dusting, sweeping, wiping walls and windows.

Though Leng Rongrong presented the image of a young lady, she performed each task with precision and agility, especially with Tang Luo's assistance, allowing them to work efficiently.

After several hours of labor, the house was finally presentable, providing a suitable place to rest.

Mo Linyuan sat silently in his wheelchair, his hawk-like gaze fixated on the bustling Leng Rongrong.

This woman certainly knows how to put on a façade.

To gain his trust, she was quite bold.

"It's finally much cleaner, but there's not even a bed here, let alone blankets… How on earth are we supposed to live here?" Leng Rongrong exclaimed, dripping with sweat as she sat down to catch her breath, annoyance evident in her voice. "The Mo family truly knows how to bully others!"

"Madam, allow me to take care of these matters," Tang Luo replied respectfully.

"How will you manage that?"

"I still have some money," Tang Luo replied.

"You can't use your own money for this," Leng Rongrong shot a glance at Mo Linyuan. "You can see how the Mo family has treated you. Although your legs may be disabled, you shouldn't endure such humiliation. Just a moment, I will think of a way."
