"That's correct, Lord Hokage," replied the masked bear ninja, nodding in agreement.
"Alright then, return to your duties," Hiruzen commanded, clearly indifferent to Aoki. Unfortunately, Hiruzen's indifference and arrogance might lead to significant problems in the future. However, at that moment, Hiruzen was unaware of the consequences of his actions.
It wasn't just Hiruzen who was indifferent to Aoki. In a dark and gloomy place underground, illuminated only by dim light, a man with a bandaged face was sitting. In front of him stood a ninja wearing attire similar to Anbu, but with a mask labeled "Root."

"Alright, continue your duties," Danzo said coldly.

"Understood, Lord Danzo," replied the Root ninja before disappearing into the darkness.
It seemed Aoki was lucky. If Aoki had drawn the attention of Hiruzen or even Danzo, his life would surely not be peaceful. However, their indifference might become a source of significant problems in the future.

"Uh... Where is this?" Aoki opened his eyes, his face showing confusion as he looked around.
"You're awake, kid?" Kuroshiro's voice sounded, and in an instant, the black cat jumped in front of Aoki's face.
"Mr. Kuroshiro? What happened?" Aoki asked wearily, his body feeling heavy.
"You ran out of chakra. I then healed you, because otherwise, it would have endangered your life," Kuroshiro replied calmly, explaining the situation.
"I understand... Thank you, Mr. Kuroshiro," Aoki smiled weakly, trying to express his gratitude.
"No problem, but in return, give me ten fish!" Kuroshiro said while lounging comfortably on Aoki's stomach.
"... Sure," Aoki replied with a faint smile, feeling relieved despite his exhaustion.
That night became the most exhausting night for Aoki. He almost lost his life if Kuroshiro hadn't been able to use Medical Jutsu in time. This made Aoki increasingly aware of the reality of how weak he was at that moment.
