章節 10: Chapter 10
Arthur-
"Do you guys believe in time travel?" I asked both Seris and Sevren, they were confused.
"I will tell you guys all the things, but before that you need to answer my question." I said again.
"Wether we believe in time travel or not will depend upon what you are going to tell us." said sevren, I gave him a smile.
"Very well, then can I ask you guys to lower your head to my level? It would be better to show you than explain it all. And don't worry Seris, this would only help you in your plans." I said and looked at seris, who was even more surprised. "It's scythe Seris for you, boy." said Seris .But soon they both agreed to my request and came towards me and ducked down to my level.
"Art, is it really alright for them to see your memories?" Asked caera.
"Dont worry it would only help us in the future and clear all the misunderstandings." I replied to her, she nodded at me hesitantly.
I then started to show my memories to Seris and Sevren. It took me a few minutes to show them my memories. While showing it to Regis and Sylvie was quite easy but when I am using this technique on others who are not connected to my mind like regis, Sylvie and now even caera, it takes me a lot of concentration.
As soon as we were done, both Seris and Sevren were silent for a bit, most probably sorting out the information that I gave them.
"First of all, I am sorry for all that you had to go through Arthur Leywin. And also thank you for taking care of Caera in the future." said sevren, yes I did show them all my memories of this life but I didn't show them any memories of my past life as Grey.
"It's fine, it wasn't even your fault. If anyone then those damned false gods should be the one to pay. And don't thank me, I should be the one to thanks Caera, she was there for me at my lowest moment." I said looking at caera who was now ignoring any eye contact.
"Thank you for all the information you gave us Arthur. And I am sorry that I couldn't...help Sylvia more." seris spoke with a twinge of guilt.
"Again it's not you fault Seris. This time I would really make agrona kneel and and beg for mercy..."I said while releasing bloodlust but I calmed down as Caera patted my shoulder.
"Anyways what do you plan to do now Seris?"I asked.
"Now with all the information you gave me and adding your presence, I need to forge new plans. Also Arthur do you know the technique that Sylvia used to get rid of those curses from Caera? It could help a lot in the near future." She said.
"Yeah I do, it's better if I remove yours and Sevren's curse right now and then I can probably write and give you that technique, but I am not sure if you can use it or not." I said, then they both nodded and bent down for me to remove the curse.
I did as Sylvia had taught me on how to remove this mind controlling or whatever this curse was that let Agrona control the people of Alacrya, and removed the curse placed on seris and Sevren. Then I wrote down the technique and gave them to Seris as she would need this in the future.
"Now, Sevren what do you want to do? Do you want to get involved in the upcoming war or help us in some other way?" I asked Sevren, I knew how Caera would feel if Sevren got involved directly in the war so if he did chose to fight in the war I would try to change his mind as I don't want Caera to lose her brother again.
"From seeing your memories and knowing how I would die..... I think it would be better for me to help you guys by making some artifacts and relics. While I will still train to grow stronger for my self defence and not to make my little sister worry about me."
"Arthur I do have a favour to ask of you, could you give me some relics that I could study and try to get some insight on it?" He asked.
"Of course I can, I do have some spare relics that I smuggled from relictombs and I don't use them anymore, so I don't see a problem in that." I said remembering that I did have some spare relics that I didn't use and those that regis said were useless to us. As I said those words I could see Sevren's eye sparkle.
"Well as you both might have known it by now, that Caera can't stay here in Alacrya. She not only has an Asura's body right now but a phoenix's beast will and is soon going to have a phoenix as her bond. You know what will happen if Agrona gets to know about this." I said in a serious tone. I saw that both Sevren and Seris's face was saddened.
"Also I didn't tell you this before, but as you might recall that before me and Caera came back in time, due to the ring relic that we wore, it...it caused our fate and souls to be bound to each other. That means, if anyone of us goes more than 15km away from the other, either one of us will just teleport to the other." I said to seris and Sevren as their eyes widened.
"You know what? I am not even surprised anymore." Said sevren.
"Then Arthur Leywin, I will say this to you just once so listen. Don't hurt Caera, and if you do, I dont care if you are on the same level as those fake god's, I will kill you." said sevren while releasing some of his aura.
"I would never hurt Caera or let anyone even hurt her. You dont have to worry about me treating her badly,." I said to him and he relaxed a bit, while Caera was blushing a bit.
"Well seris do you think that it's possible for you to remove Caera's name from any document? I would like to take precautions and I certainly don't want Agrona to know of her existence in anyways." I explained to seris.
"Yes it is possible, while I haven't reported to anyone that I have taken someone as my disciple yet. So no one knows that I have a disciple except the Denoir's." she replied to which I was somewhat relaxed.
"Don't worry about that, I will see what I can do about this situation. Afterall I don't want my little sister to become a toy for those beings." Said sevren and I gave him a thanks.
"Well before you two go, take these with you. It would help us to get in touch with eachother." Said seris while taking out a bunch of communication scrolls, from her desk and gave them to Caera.
Then Caera put all those scrolls in her dimension ring and talked a bit with seris and Sevren then finally giving them both a hug and getting prepared to leave.
I pulled out the tempus warp and activated it. "Ladies first." I said to caera while bowing a little she gave me a nod and entered first. After she entered I looked back at Seris and Sevren.
" Seris, sevren listen......." To which they both were happy and gave me a nod and bid me goodbye. Then I too entered the portal not wanting to make Caera wait any longer.
As soon as I returned, I was welcomed by a tight hug from Caera. I hugged her back and patted her head. "Dont be sad now Caera, you'll see them again. And if you want we can just go and pay a visit to them from time to time." I said to caera, she remained silent for a bit but then gave me a hum as a reply.
We broke our hug after a bit, I then saw that it wasn't even midnight yet. Then I thought about paying a visit to elder Rinia.
"Caera, do you want to go and pay a visit to Elder Rinia?" I asked her.
"Yeah, sure Art. Isn't she the diviner that you told me about, the person that could see the future?"
"Yup, that's her. Knowing her, she is probably expecting us to visit her right now." I said while chuckling a bit.
"Then shall we go?" I asked while extending my hands towards her which she took. But then I pulled her towards me and picked her up in bridal style and godstep to where I remembered elder Rinia's house was.
I then put Caera down and we both walked towards the door of the house.
"Are you sure Art, that it's fine if I come along with you?" She asked hesitantly.
"Don't worry, Elder Rinia won't do anything to you nor will she judge you. She isn't that type of person." I said while holding Caera's hand and comforting her while she gave me a nod.
Then I knocked at the door and waited for Elder Rinia to open it.
"So you finally decided to pay a visit to me you brat." Said elder Rinia after opening the door.
"Oh c'mon elder Rinia, you knew that I would be giving you a visit soon anyways."
"Yeah sure you brat. You must be Caera right? Come in."
"Thank you." Said Caera while giving a small bow to Elder Rinia and then we entered the house and made our way towards the table and made ourselves comfortable there.
"Let me bring some tea for us." said elder Rinia as she went to the kitchen and quickly bought us some tea.
"So, want to tell me more about your adventures in Alacrya and your experience in time travelling?" she asked as curiosity leaked from her. I let out a light chuckle. Then me and Caera shared our experience from our adventures together in relictombs and then about our time travel.
"I know it's a bit late, but thank you Caera. Because of you, this idiot over here is still in his right state of mind. And my respect for you has also grown, I know betraying your own continent is not an easy task." said elder Rinia while I scratched the back of my head.
Caera let out a light chuckle and said, "It's nothing Elder Rinia,I love Arthur truly, so it's only natural for me to help him when he needs me. And I don't really care that much about Alacrya, while that might be my birth place, but I don't have any fond memories of it. The only people I care about right now are Scythe Seris, Sevren my brother and Arthur. I know that Sevren and Scythe seris are on our sides and both of them are dependable, so I don't have to worry about them that much." and elder Rinia just nodded at her.
We talked about a few things here and there for a while. Then I noticed that Caera was getting sleepy so I thought that it would be better if we went back to the castle now.
"Elder Rinia, Caera, what do you guys think we should now?" I asked, they both looked at me confused as to what I meant.
"I mean, Caera what do you want, you could either stay here with elder Rinia and she would help you train your mana and body and I can always come and help you getting assimilated with your beast will after I finish my training with Gramps."
"Or you could train with me under Gramps, but then I have to think of a way to introduce you to others." I said.
" Caera is always welcomed here, she can stay with me here and I can too teach her about mana and spells here in Dicathen but you most probably have to help her in her getting assimilated with the beast will."said elder Rinia.
"Can you both give me sometime to think about it?" Asked caera, I gave her a nod.
"Of course dear, it's upto you. So take your time and think about it." said elder Rinia.
"Thank you, elder Rinia." said Caera.
After that both me Caera said our goodbyes to elder Rinia and we got out of her house.
As I was about to use godstep to my room with caera, we were interrupted by elder Rinia.
"Arthur, Caera both of you should visit me more often from now on until you guys are here." She said
"You know that we will, also elder Rinia dont use that future sight magic anymore now. Both me and Caera know about the future so it would be better if you don't use it and shorten your lifespan." I said to her. She gave us a warm smile and then I princess carried Caera and godstep to my room.
Then we both went to the bed. Caera crawled upto me and buried her face in my chest, I then wrapped my arms around her waist, she didn't resist it. I could feel Caera's warm breath, then her intoxicating fragrance, I didn't want to let go of her. I wanted to embrace her forever.I moved my fingers gently through her smooth,silky, beautiful navy blue hairs.
After a bit a sudden realisation hit me. If I get close to Caera wouldn't she become the vessel for Legacy? No wait for her to become the legacy, Nico too needs to get close to her.
As much as I remember, for Legacy to come to this world, she needs two anchors. One me and the other is Nico. So I just have to keep nico away and not let him see Caera.
Should I kill nico as soon as I meet him this time around? Nahh that would be a waste.
I remember that Agrona messed with legacy's memories. So what if I messed with nico's memories too....will that work?
Nico is too obsessed with Cecilia. And I need Cecilia to keep nico with us. What if I reincarnate Cecilia in some other way? But will it be possible without a vessel?
'Hey regis, you up yet? I need your advice on a matter.' I asked to see that if regis was there, but again I was met with silence. 'I guess he is still hibernating.' I thought as I could still feel his presence in my core, so I was sure that nothing bad happened to him. Well he needs some aether to keep his form, and the aether here is much less compared to the density of aether in relictombs so it might take him some time to wake up.
Well if I reincarnate Cecilia, then she would be on my side. Then agrona's plan would fail terribly. Well I can just hope that I can find something related about this matter in 'that' place,*sigh*. Let's leave it at that and get some rest.
Well Caera has to choose tomorrow, if she wants to train with me here under Gramps or train with elder Rinia and not get involved with the elven royalty. And I have to make a plan accordingly.
If she wants to train with me under Gramps, then I have to be prepared as to how I am going to introduce her to Gramps and others.
And if she wants to train with elder Rinia, then that shouldn't be too big of a problem. I can just sneak out of the castle and go to elder Rinia's house to help Caera get assimilated with her beast will, after I finish my daily training with Gramps that is. And I won't have to introduce her to others. That would be convenient for now.
Well let's just go to sleep now. I then looked at caera who was sleeping peacefully, a small smile crept up on my face, soon I too feel asleep.
