I felt my heart race as I turned to face Tyler. My eyes locked unto him, and he looked back straight at me with curiosity, his expression softening. The air was thick with unspoken emotions. The warmth of the meadow and his hands that were still on mine gave me courage.

"I've been thinking a lot about us this past week of us getting to know each other again." I said my voice barely above a whisper. His eyes never left mine as he gave me his attention. "Tyler, I've missed this. Missed us."

My voice began to tremble as I continued. "Being around you feels like home, and when I'm around you, I feel complete. Like everything that's going on in the world, just stop for a moment, and it's just us."
