I woke up with my throat feeling sore. I eased up on the bed and looked around me as I remembered where I was and the night before. I was in Tyler's bedroom in his apartment. I rested my head back on the pillow and closed my eyes as I tried to collect my thoughts.

When I opened my eyes again, I looked around for my phone. I saw it on the nightstand table beside the bed, and I stretched and took it up. I checked the time quickly and saw that it was 8:30 am. I also noticed that I had four missed calls from Dominic and two messages from him. I quickly dialed his number and placed the phone to my ear.

"Hi, Emily." Dominic said in a concerned voice when he answered the phone. "I tried calling you this morning, and then I called Victoria. She said you were not feeling well. How do you feel this morning?"

"Like I've been run over by a truck," I laughed a little. "But it's better than last night."

"I'm so sorry. I wished I was there with you last night." He said apologically.
