When Dominic left me at my house, it was 8 pm. As I stood at the door, I looked over at Tyler's parents' house and saw that his car was still there. Since he left for his new place, this was the first time I have seen him, so I guess he was spending a few hours with his parents.

As I was about to open the door, I saw the door at Tyler's parents' house open, and Tyler stepped out onto the brightly lit verandah. I didn't want him to notice me standing there, so I turned to enter the house. As I took one step, I heard my name. I stopped and turned around to see him walking to the fence that separated both houses.

I walked towards him. "Hey, I thought you left already."

He shook his head. "I stayed longer than planned. My mom is planning her fourth wedding anniversary. I'm helping her plan it."
