Chapter 3 :Language
On the beautiful night, the wind swayed his hairs,as he walked slowly. Asmodeous has been walking for more than 3 hours.
He has some hope of reaching to any civilization, that's why he didn't faltered his steps.
He has made a mistake in his judgment, he forgot that he was not in his soul form, he continued to walk .
After some time a voice came from his stomach, "growl."
He was hungry and thirsty, he forgot that he has a body now. So for his survival, he sat up a camp in the forest.
The night was brimming with moonlight,the forest was silent in the night. There was no birds chirping, animals jumping and running, there was only darkness and silence.
Asmodeous was happy, he likes this type of environment, As his hunger increased, he began to analyze his surroundings.
There he saw only trees and some herbs, rooted on the ground.
After searching for 5 minutes he didn't find anything. So he focused in his senses and began to listen the waves of air the, voice of water flowing .
There he found a water source, near him. He started walikng towards the water source. There he saw a river.
He began to see in the river, searching for fish to eat , but fate played with him.
Even after diving in the river he didn't find anything, so he returned to ground. Now he have to survive with water only.
After drinking water , he began to walk again in the same direction, that he was going before feeling hungry.
He began to run straight in that direction. After sprinting for 25 minutes, he found some buildings, that were identical to the ones his sub consciousness has captured.
There he found some the same situation from the forest. Everything was silent, even the roads were empty. Not even a shop was open.
As he walked for sometime he saw a building, that was has some light.
Seeing the bright building, that was like ancient china or japanese buildings. He approached it.
Seeing the door closed, and a sign hanging outside the door. He thought of knocking the door.
"Knock...Knock."
After waiting for sometime he knocked the door once more.
His persistent knocking on the door, has waked up the master of the inn. Of course he didn't knew , that it was a inn.
He thought it was someone's house. And he will get help being lost here in unknown town.
Nothenless he has the confidence to handle any situation.
"Crack"
As the door opened, a middle-aged lady was standing in front of him. The lady came outside and began to scan the boy standing in front of her.
Seeing his peculiar type of clothes, he was wearing , she became wary of him. After some silence, the lady spoke.
"Who are you? What are you doing here in the night."
Listening to the unknown language, Asmodeous sighed. He didn't thought that there will be a language barrier between the residents of this world and him.
But nothenless he tried to act innocent and stretched his hand towards the direction he came.
Seeing the boy standing there, without speaking anything. The middle-aged lady became more wary of him.
But when she saw the boys hand gesture, she understood that he was coming from the dark woods.
Seeing him standing with silence, she asked another question, "what are you doing here."
Listening to the question, Asmodeous has no idea what she was asking, so he thought of playing memory loss card.
That's right he played his card and gestured his hands towards his brain , shaking it in a particular way of saying no.
Seeing her gesture she turned around and gestured him to come in, without saying anything.
She knew now , that he can't understand her and has lost his memories. After walking behind her for sometime, they climbed stairs to upward.
Going upwards she gestured him towards a romm in the corner, he bowed his head slightly, and began to walk towards the room.
After seeing the lady go to the ground floor, he sighed and thought 'What should I do of this language barrier. '
'They can't understand me nor i can understand her. It seems that lady was kind.'
'Or else i would not be here now, i can understand her a little bit but thats not enough. '
He lay on the bed , while thinking about the language, the lady was speaking. His talent was coming in handy.
After listening to her question, his mind registered it, if he get the opportunity to listen more , he can speak their language easily.
After sometime his room's door opened and the lady came in with a tray in her hands.
She placed the trays on the table ,and said to him "Where are you from boy?"
Listening her question Asmodeous was only able to utter the word, "Far."
He didn't know more than that, he couldn't speak properly yet. But his talent and his mind were working tirelessly to Decode the language.
After some consoling, she left the room. After she left Asmodeous started to eat, feeling the energy replenishment in his body, he was satisfied.
But not happy nor sad, from what he has studied the system windows, he can understand that this world is far from normal.
There was something related to realms. He decided to check his memories that were buried deep down in his brain.
Even before his talent upgrade, he was able to rewind his all memories, that exist in his brain. It was the magic of being in void for millennials.
He decided to check the parts of his teens, where he was partially enjoying his life.
He closed his eyes and began to replay the memories, while laying on the bed.
He was gratefull for the middle-aged lady, if she wasn't this kind and soft hearted, he would be somewhere doing illegal things, like robbing a house or beating someone for money.
Nothenless he was doing his own work and nature was doing her own.
