章節 14: What did he say

Zues then spoke up. "Um was something not supposed to happen"

Mimir looked at all them. "Odd this has never happened before.. Unless"

He then pointed at Hades, as Hades was taken a back a bit, Mimir looked at as he had a smile.

Mimir looked at Hades a spoke. "You, you have something that the Well onces, he have knowledge that is not present"

Hades didn't like how right Mimir was, he had knowledge of the future events to come a war to happen, and he even had one more knowledge, Knowledge of Tiamat, knowledge of the Voide something that no one should no

Mimir looked at him. "Give it to the Well and no one has to give up anything"

Hades just looked at her was wondering what to say, but then Tiamat spoke in his mind

Tiamat spoke in Hades head, she wishper in his head. "Don't worry son, tell him about the secret of the void, just don't tell him about me and future"

Hades spoke happy to hear her voice. "Than you mother"

Hades eyes then meet Mimir. "Fine I will tell but it only stays between us and only the two of us"

The other looked at Hades, as he went to Mimir as Hades wishper to his ear, it was only for 10 second but what ever Mimir had Heard was shocked and even scared and destroyed all the things Mimir looked knew.

Mimir looked at him and spoke. "I-i-i-i s-see, t-t-this will stay b-b-b- between U-us"

As Hades stepped back, the rest of the group watched in silent confusion. Mimir's usually confident demeanor was now shaken, and even his voice had lost its commanding tone. His hands trembled slightly as he turned away from Hades, his mind clearly racing with the newfound knowledge he had just acquired.

Zeus, never one to remain quiet, crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow. "So… are we going to get some sort of explanation here, or are you two just going to keep whispering like children?"

Poseidon, always the more cautious of the group, glanced between Mimir and Hades. "Whatever he told Mimir… it's clearly something beyond any of us. Let's not push for answers we aren't ready to hear."

Hestia, ever the voice of calm, placed a hand on Zeus' arm. "Poseidon is right. If it's important enough that Mimir is this shaken, we need to trust Hades' judgment. There are some things not meant for us right now."

Hades finally turned back to the group, his expression unreadable, but a heavy weight seemed to hang over him. "There's nothing more that needs to be said," he muttered. "The well is satisfied. We don't have to sacrifice anything now."

Mimir, still pale, nodded in agreement. "Yes, yes… the well has accepted. Your trials are over. You've gained what you sought without losing anything in return. Consider yourselves… fortunate."

Zeus, still suspicious, grumbled under his breath but didn't press further. The air around them began to shift, the ominous weight that had surrounded the well slowly dissipating. It was clear the well had taken what it wanted, and the gods were free to leave.

As they began to walk away from the well, Hades remained silent, his mind still reeling from the conversation he had just shared with Mimir. He knew the knowledge of the Void—of Tiamat—was something far too dangerous for any of them to fully comprehend, and yet, the weight of it was now shared with one more person.

Hestia walked beside him, her gaze soft. "Whatever you told him, Hades… you didn't have to carry it alone. You're stronger than you think."

Hades offered her a small, tired smile. "It's not about strength, Hestia. It's about responsibility. Some knowledge… it changes everything."

The group moved forward, leaving the Well of Mimir behind, but the encounter left a mark on all of them, a subtle reminder that even gods were not immune to the unknown forces that lurked just beyond their understanding.

As they departed, Odin lingered for a moment, his one good eye staring back at the well. He had given up much to gain his own knowledge, and yet, whatever Hades had shared with Mimir seemed to surpass even his understanding. He clenched his fist but remained silent. There would be time for answers later.

For now, the gods had learned something invaluable—some doors were better left unopened.

Later that knight, as Hades was sleeping he went to his dream, he driped into his dream, where he found Tiamat.

Hades stood before Tiamat in his dream, feeling the familiar and comforting presence of the one who had trained him. Her appearance was as ethereal as ever, her snow-white hair flowing with an unseen wind, and her glowing red eyes radiating both power and wisdom.

Tiamat gazed at him with a motherly smile, but her expression shifted to something more serious when he asked about the Void.

"The Void, also known as the Imaginary Number Space, or the Void Sea, is not like the realms you know, Hades," she began, her voice echoing softly within the dream. "It is a place where existence and non-existence intertwine, a paradox where time, space, and even life itself can mean nothing or everything at once."

Hades listened intently, his mind attempting to grasp the complexity of her words. "So it's… beyond the reality we know?" he asked, though deep down he sensed the answer was far more intricate.

Tiamat nodded. "Yes. The Void exists beyond what most gods or mortals can perceive. It is a primordial space where the rules of creation don't apply. Some call it a sea because it ebbs and flows like the tides, but it's much more than that. It's the origin and the end, a place of infinite potential, but also of infinite destruction. Those who gaze too deeply into it are often consumed by it."

Hades frowned, thinking back to his earlier conversation with Mimir and the unease it had caused him. "Is that why you warned me not to reveal everything? Because the Void is too dangerous?"

Tiamat's eyes softened as she stepped closer, resting a hand on his shoulder. "I told you to protect the knowledge because the Void holds secrets that even the gods fear. It is where I was born, and where I draw much of my power from. But even I… I am not immune to its pull. The Void is both my home and my prison."

Her confession hung heavily in the air, and Hades felt a wave of sympathy for her. "A prison? But you're one of the most powerful beings I've ever known."

Tiamat chuckled softly, though there was sadness in her voice. "Power does not equate to freedom, Hades. The Void may have granted me incredible abilities, but it also binds me in ways even I cannot escape. The deeper you go into it, the more it shapes you, warps you."

Hades clenched his fists, feeling a sense of unease creeping into his heart. "Then… why teach me about it? Why share this knowledge with me?"

Tiamat's gaze turned solemn. "Because you are destined to face challenges far beyond what the gods have seen. The Void is tied to the very fabric of reality, and sooner or later, its influence will make itself known. You must be prepared, Hades. Not just for the battles ahead, but for the choices you'll have to make."

Hades swallowed hard, the weight of her words sinking in. "What kind of choices?"

Tiamat's red eyes gleamed with something akin to sorrow and hope. "Choices that will determine whether you remain tethered to the world you know… or whether you will embrace the Void and all that comes with it."

Hades stepped back, his mind racing. "And if I do embrace it? What happens to me?"

Tiamat's expression grew even more grave. "If you embrace the Void fully, Hades… you may lose yourself. You may become something else entirely, something that even the gods cannot recognize. But with that transformation comes unimaginable power, the kind that reshapes worlds and bends the will of existence itself."

A heavy silence followed her words, and Hades felt the enormity of the choice she was warning him about. The Void, this mysterious, boundless space, offered both power and peril, a path that few could walk without losing everything.

Tiamat gently lifted his chin so that he would meet her gaze. "You are my son, Hades. I trained you because I believe you can handle this burden. But remember, the Void is not just a source of power. It is a mirror to one's soul, a place that will test you in ways nothing else can. Use it wisely, or it will consume you."

Hades nodded, his heart heavy with the knowledge. "I'll be careful. I promise."

Tiamat's smile returned, though it was tinged with sadness. "I know you will, my son. Just remember, I will always be with you, watching over you, no matter where your path leads."

Hades looked at her. "Us, the gods who have the domain over the Void don't know much about it".

Tiamat srugged. "In all honesty the void is more complicated but also a bit more different, but what I said it correct, will it does put the whole thing of me living in the void will something doesn't it"

Hades looked at her. "Other then you did anyone other gods were born from the void"

Tiamat looked at him. "Yes, but that is for the future"

Hades furrowed his brow, absorbing Tiamat's words. "If other gods were born from the Void, then why don't we know more about it? Why keep it a secret?"

Tiamat's expression shifted, a hint of caution flickering in her red eyes. "The knowledge of the Void is not just a simple secret, Hades. It's dangerous. Those born from the Void carry with them echoes of its power and chaos. Many of them do not retain their sanity, and their influence can bring calamity to the realms."

Hades shivered slightly at the thought. "You mean to say that even gods could succumb to the Void's madness?"

"Exactly," Tiamat replied, her voice steady but filled with concern. "The Void tests not only one's strength but also one's will. Those who cannot withstand its pull become something else entirely—beings of pure chaos. Some might say they become monsters."

Hades thought about the implications. "So, are you saying that I have to be careful about how I approach the Void? That I might not just gain power but also risk losing myself?"

"Yes, and no," Tiamat clarified, her tone softening. "You must learn to balance the power of the Void with your own sense of self. You have strength within you that is tied to your lineage and your experiences. If you can navigate the darkness without losing your light, you may be one of the few who can wield its power without succumbing to it."

Hades nodded, the weight of her words pressing down on him. "But how can I know if I'm ready? How can I prepare for what's to come?"

"You will know," Tiamat reassured him. "When the time comes, the Void will call to you, and you will have to decide whether to answer. Trust in your instincts, your choices, and your heart. But always remember, once you step into the Void, there is no turning back."

With those final words, Hades felt the dream start to fade again. He grasped for Tiamat's hand, wanting to hold onto this moment just a little longer. "Wait! What about the other gods? What if they find out?"

"Keep the knowledge of the Void close to your heart, my son. It is a burden meant only for you for now. As for the others, they will learn in time, but it must be on your terms, when you are ready to guide them."

As Hades felt the dream dissolve, he caught a final glimpse of Tiamat, her ethereal form shimmering with power and wisdom. "Remember, you are never alone. I am always with you, even in the shadows of the Void."

With that, Hades awoke, a renewed sense of determination coursing through him. He sat up in bed, the cool night air brushing against his skin, and began to contemplate the challenges ahead. The knowledge of the Void was a heavy mantle to bear, but he was prepared to embrace it.

Taking a deep breath, he resolved to learn everything he could about the Void and himself. He would not allow the darkness to consume him; instead, he would harness its power and make it his own.

The battle was just beginning.

Hades then woke from his dream, as then a whole but tone of Sea water was dropped on him.

Hades got up and just spoke darkly. "ZEUS"

A laugh echoed through the chamber as Zeus leaned against the doorframe, a mischievous grin plastered across his face. "Good morning, brother! Thought I'd help you wake up in a way that suits your dark, brooding nature!"

Hades wiped the water from his eyes, annoyance flaring up within him. "This isn't a joke, Zeus. You can't just drench someone in water when they're trying to think!"

Zeus shrugged, still chuckling. "You were taking too long to wake up. Besides, I figured the Sea God would appreciate a little aquatic surprise."

Hades shot him a glare. "And I'm supposed to be the God of the Underworld? You think this is funny?"

"Only a little," Zeus replied, stepping further into the room. "But seriously, what were you dreaming about? You looked pretty deep in thought."

Hades hesitated, unsure whether to share the details of his encounter with Tiamat. But he knew it was not time. "No of your business, not something you are ready to learn Brother"

Zeus looked at him. "So what I will learn it what".

Hades looked at him. "... Later"

Hades rose from his bed, the remnants of sleep fading as he mentally prepared himself for the day ahead. The water dripped from his dark hair, pooling around his feet. He felt a twinge of irritation but knew that Zeus's antics were just a part of their sibling dynamics.

"Alright, if you're going to act like a child, at least help me clean this up," Hades grumbled, gesturing to the wet floor.

Zeus raised an eyebrow, a glimmer of mischief still in his eyes. "What, no lightning bolts to dry the place? You could at least show a little enthusiasm for the power of the seas."

Hades rolled his eyes but couldn't suppress a slight smile. "You're impossible. Just because you can command storms doesn't mean you should use them on me. I have enough chaos in my life without you adding to it."

As the brothers bickered, the mood in the Underworld shifted. A rumble echoed through the halls, indicating that something was brewing outside their realm. Hades paused, sensing the disturbance.

"What was that?" Zeus asked, his playful demeanor shifting to one of concern.

"Trouble," Hades replied, his tone serious. "I can feel it."

They hurried to the balcony overlooking the Underworld. The skies were darkening, swirling with clouds that seemed to pulse with energy. In the distance, flashes of lightning streaked across the horizon, illuminating the shadows below.

"That's not just Poseidon playing around with his new powers, is it?" Zeus speculated, his expression turning grim.

Hades shook his head. "No, this feels... different. Like something or someone is trying to break through."

Before they could further assess the situation, a massive figure emerged from the dark clouds—a creature born of chaos and shadow, twisting and writhing with an energy that felt foreign and unsettling.

"By the gods…" Hades breathed, a chill running down his spine. "What is that thing?"

Zeus clenched his fists, his body crackling with lightning. "Whatever it is, it doesn't belong here. We need to confront it."

The two brothers stood side by side, united in their resolve. As they descended into the Underworld, the energy from the creature grew more potent, and they knew they were about to face a challenge unlike any they had encountered before.

Suddenly, a voice echoed through the air, deep and resonant, cutting through the tension like a blade. "You dare to challenge the void? I am its herald, and I have come to claim what is rightfully mine!"

The brothers exchanged a glance, an understanding passing between them. This was not just a battle for their realms but a test of their very existence.

"We won't let you," Hades said defiantly, stepping forward.

Zeus raised his hand, calling forth a storm. "Prepare yourself! We are gods, and we will defend our home!"

As they unleashed their powers, the sky erupted with lightning and shadows, setting the stage for an epic confrontation. The air crackled with tension, each brother prepared to face the unknown threat head-on, aware that the outcome could change everything they knew about their realms.
