Once the serum entered his body and circulated throughout, the response came quickly. Ye Hai felt a noticeable change as the serum reached his bone marrow, altering its hematopoietic function and causing significant changes in his blood. Ultimately, the new blood flowed through every cell in his body, transforming each one.
The entire process was swift, taking less than ten minutes.
Ye Hai took a small knife and made a deep cut on his arm. A sharp pain radiated from the wound, accompanied by a severe itchiness—indicators that the regenerative function was starting to take effect.
"Ah!" Gwen exclaimed, watching in disbelief as the wound on Ye Hai's arm healed rapidly, leaving no scar behind as if he had never been injured.
"This is unbelievable," Gwen said, grabbing Ye Hai's arm to examine it more closely. She touched it; the skin was smooth, with no signs of injury. She chuckled, "This is amazing! Will I experience this effect too?"
"Of course," Ye Hai replied with some concern. "But you're not a mutant, so the serum you have is a bit different from mine. It will hurt a lot when you inject it, and you'll need the willpower to endure it."
"Don't think of me as a delicate girl; a little pain isn't a big deal!" Gwen said defiantly, quickly grabbing the syringe and injecting the serum into her body.
"Ouch! That really hurts!"
Gwen cried out, her beautiful body trembling violently, sweat breaking out all over her. Ye Hai caught her in his arms and gently said, "Hang in there; I'll stay with you the whole time."
Gwen nodded, biting her full lips to keep from making any sounds. She was a strong-willed girl who didn't want Ye Hai to see her as someone needing his protection.
The excruciating process lasted for over an hour, dragging on painfully; but with Ye Hai's support, Gwen managed to get through it.
She thought she would feel utterly drained afterward, but she was surprisingly full of energy, as if her body were a perpetual motion machine, brimming with inexhaustible vitality.
"This is amazing! I feel incredible!" Gwen exclaimed joyously, picking up the small knife from the table. After hesitating, she made a small cut on her arm, and although a bit of blood seeped out, it healed almost instantly.
Gwen felt exhilarated and cut a longer gash, which also healed quickly.
"This regenerative ability is incredible! Ye Hai, so I won't age at all, right?" Gwen said, her eyes sparkling with excitement as she looked at Ye Hai.
Ye Hai nodded, "Yes, you will maintain this appearance forever, just like me."
"That's wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!" Gwen hopped with excitement, then she wrinkled her nose. Her acute sense of smell picked up the sweat odor from both of them. "It stinks! We need to take a shower!"
"Yes, I think we should shower together," Ye Hai said with a smile, looking at her.
Gwen's cheeks flushed slightly as she tilted her head and said, "Then let's go, rookie!"
"Rookie?" Ye Hai laughed, picking up Gwen and running into the shower room in the lab.

However, trouble ensued.
"Oh my God, I'm bleeding again! Do I have to become a virgin every time?"
Ye Hai felt a headache coming on. Even the wisest can have their lapses; he never considered that Gwen was still a virgin—had he known, he would have taken her first before administering the serum.
"What do we do? Ye Hai, I don't want our intimate moments to always end up messy!" Gwen said, distressed.
"Leave it to me; I'll help you solve this problem," Ye Hai said, bemused. It certainly was a joyous occasion for a man to be with a virgin, but it was primarily a psychological sense of possession rather than just the physical aspect, which only led to frustration for someone like Gwen.
*Ding! Task triggered: Help Gwen alter her virgin body. Task duration: five days. Task success rewards: 1,000 science points.*
"Virgin body? That's quite a precise term," Ye Hai thought to himself, amused.
With the situation turning like this, their passionate moments could only come to a halt. After a hasty cleanup, they dressed in fresh clothes and exited the shower room.
"System, how many science points do I have now?" Ye Hai asked in his mind.
"You have 18,193 science points."
"More than 18,000, then let's solidify the first level of the brain domain."
"Yes. Ding! Host has solidified the first level of the brain domain, consuming 3,000 science points. Remaining: 16,193 science points."
As the system finished speaking, Ye Hai felt a unique energy entering his brain, creating a warm sensation. It felt as though his brain expanded suddenly, and the warm feeling vanished, returning to its original state.
"Ding! Host has completed the solidification of the first level of the brain domain. In the future, the host will have a standard brain domain activation of 10%, requiring no more science points."
