章節 6: Training 2

Forks, Washington – The Next Day

It was early morning, and the air outside was still cool from the night. The Clearwater house was quiet, with the faint sound of birds chirping and the gentle rustling of trees in the distance. I stood in the kitchen, sipping from a glass of water as Leah, Sue, and Seth were finishing breakfast.

"Where you headed today, Jaxon?" Harry asked, glancing up from the table as he cut into his pancakes.

I leaned casually against the counter. "I think I'll take a bit of time for myself. Might go for a long walk, maybe head out of town for the day."

Leah, sitting next to her brother, shot me a knowing glance. She'd already guessed that I wasn't just going for a casual stroll. I gave her a subtle nod, confirming what she suspected.

"Alright, well, don't wander too far," Sue said, her voice full of motherly concern. "You're practically part of the family now, so we worry about you just as much."

I smiled warmly. "Don't worry, Mrs. Clearwater. I'll be back before it gets dark."

Leah followed me out of the kitchen and into the hallway, her eyes flicking over her shoulder to make sure her parents and Seth weren't listening. "You're going to train again, aren't you?" she whispered.

"Yeah, I need to work on something new," I said, keeping my voice low. "This time it's my Sky Divinity."

Leah raised an eyebrow. "Sky Divinity? What's that one do?"

"It gives me the ability to see everything from above, like a bird's-eye view," I explained. "If I can master it, I'll be able to keep an eye on things happening all around the world."

Leah nodded, her expression a mixture of curiosity and concern. "You're sure you'll be alright?"

I smirked. "You know me. I've got it covered."

She rolled her eyes, but the small smile tugging at her lips told me she wasn't too worried. "Just don't go overboard. And if you're not back by dinner, I'm coming to find you."

"I wouldn't expect anything less," I said, squeezing her hand gently before stepping out the front door.

Training Begins (a/n: as u can guess she is clingy)

Once I was a mile or two away from the Clearwater house, I stopped in a clearing surrounded by towering trees. The sound of leaves rustling in the wind filled the air as I looked up at the sky. Clouds were gathering—perfect for what I needed.

With a focused thought, I commanded the clouds to descend, thickening and swirling around me, forming a dense, impenetrable shroud. They obeyed without hesitation, wrapping me in their misty embrace as I ascended, hovering effortlessly in the air, far from any prying mortal eyes.

Up here, the world below felt distant, as if it was just a small part of something much bigger. I took a deep breath, centering myself as I prepared to push my limits.

I closed my eyes, reaching out to my Sky Divinity. A sense of vastness immediately washed over me, as if the whole sky was waiting for my command. Slowly, I allowed my consciousness to rise above the earth, expanding my awareness beyond my immediate surroundings.

The first thing I saw was Forks, the town laid out beneath me like a map. I could see the Clearwater house, Leah's dark hair just visible through the window as she moved through the living room. I could see Seth outside, tossing a ball up in the air lazily. Every detail was clear, even from this height.

But I didn't stop there. I pushed my divinity further, expanding my vision outward, beyond Forks. The forests and roads stretched out like veins, connecting the small town to the rest of Washington. I could see towns and cities in the distance, people moving about their daily lives, unaware that I was watching them from above.

It was working.

But it wasn't enough.

I needed more clarity, more distance. My Sky Divinity had to evolve, to give me a better sense of the world around me.

Intervention

As I continued to extend my vision, something caught my attention—something unnatural. Far to the east, miles away from Forks, I spotted a group of supernatural beings, locked in a struggle. They were being hunted, cornered by a group of men armed with weapons designed to kill creatures like them.

A surge of anger flashed through me. Hunters.

They had a family of vampires trapped, their eyes wild with fear as they were surrounded. I could see the hunters were about to strike.

I didn't hesitate. Channeling my Lightning Divinity, I summoned a bolt of pure energy. The purple lightning crackled at my fingertips before I let it loose. It shot across the sky, invisible to the naked eye, before striking the ground near the hunters.

The explosion of energy sent them scattering, their weapons clattering to the ground. The supernatural family, taking advantage of the chaos, fled into the safety of the woods.

I felt a sense of satisfaction as I pulled my attention away. It wasn't the first time I had intervened, and it wouldn't be the last. But for now, I needed to focus on my training.

Evolution A/N(He holds family at a high ground, if u had read the parts where he states family and feeling like one, you'd realize)

I returned my attention to the sky, forcing my Sky Divinity to extend further. The strain was immense, but I pushed through it. If I could master this, I'd be able to see not just from a distance, but with perfect clarity.

I felt the power growing within me, the connection to the sky deepening. My vision sharpened, becoming more refined. I could see individual people, feel their movements as they went about their lives. I was becoming omniscient, but limited to the view of the sky. The entire world was beneath me, like a vast network of pathways and connections, every detail visible.

And still, I pushed further.

Suddenly, my divinity clicked into place, like a lock turning with the right key. I could see everything. Not just as it was, but as it could be. I was becoming one with the sky itself, my awareness stretching across the globe.

Returning Home

Exhausted but exhilarated, I finally let my consciousness return to the present. The clouds that had been shrouding me began to dissipate as I descended back to the earth, my feet touching the soft grass.

I felt the energy of my Sky Divinity humming beneath the surface, stronger than ever.

I began the walk back to the Clearwater house, still feeling the aftereffects of the training. Leah was waiting for me, as I knew she would be, leaning against the door frame.

"You're back," she said, pushing off the wall and walking toward me. "How was the training?"

I grinned. "Let's just say, the sky's no longer the limit."

She laughed, though her eyes searched mine, making sure I was okay. "Good. Just don't overdo it."

"I won't," I promised, knowing her worrisome behavior.

(A/N: Most guys would love his partner waiting for him)
