Once Sawyer opened the metal door, his butler, Paul, greeted him.
"Sir, welcome home. Mr. Sterling is already waiting for you in your study," Paul said.
Sawyer nodded and proceeded down the stairs to the third floor. "What time did he arrive?" he asked.
"An hour ago," Paul replied, following him to the stairs.
Sawyer sighed quietly. They should have returned earlier, but after saying goodbye to his grandpa, they had been held up for another thirty minutes. His grandpa didn't want them to go home.
Noticing his master's concern, Paul added, "Ethan is there to keep him company and chat."
Sawyer said nothing as he hurried to his office, dismissing Paul.
Upon entering, he found Ethan and Rowan seated on the sofa, seriously discussing a topic that did not interest him.
He cleared his throat softly as he walked in, prompting them to stop and immediately rise from their seats when they noticed his presence.
