Ten minutes before her shift, Abigail arrived at the café. She was surprised to see that it was not as packed as usual. Only a few tables were occupied on the first floor, and there was no line at the cashier.

As she walked quietly toward the staff lounge, hoping not to be noticed, she spotted Kian and Tanya talking behind the counter. However, before she could pass by, Tanya caught sight of her.

"Oh, Sister Abigail, you're here early," Tanya said, moving away from Kian to approach Abigail with her trademark wide smile.

"Sister Abigail, we don't have many customers right now. You can take your time in the staff lounge. Plus, we have Brother Kian here, who will be working until night to keep you company," Tanya giggled happily, which made Abigail smile in return.
