The first thing that caught Abigail's attention when she entered the café was a man standing behind the counter next to Lana. She looked extremely cheerful while making coffee beside him. Her eyes beamed at him with adoration.

The man was not tall but not short either; Lana's head only reached his jaw. He had tan skin and a long fringe hairstyle. His black-framed glasses made him look stylish and younger despite being older than Lana.

'Is that Kian? He must be—' Abigail muttered as she walked toward the back door to the staff lounge. But before she passed the counter, Lana saw her and called her to come behind the counter.

"Abigail! You came early. Come here..." Lana couldn't hide her excitement as she watched Abigail walk toward her. "Girl, let me introduce you to Kian. He is our old Barista. In fact, he was my café's first Barista." She pointed at Kian behind her without looking at him.
