章節 67: Chapter 67

**Chapter 67: Don't Want to Steal Someone's Love**

After having breakfast on the second floor of the hotel, the three made their way to the Great Fighting Soul Arena.

Zhao Ling followed the two women from a distance of more than 20 meters. Whenever he quickened his pace to catch up, they shot him murderous glares, forcing him to stay back.

Confused by their behavior, Zhao Ling perked up his ears, trying to eavesdrop on their conversation. But the women whispered so quietly that he couldn't make out a word.

'What's going on with these two?' Zhao Ling thought, feeling wronged. 'A few days ago, they were fighting like bitter enemies, constantly at each other's throats. Now, they've teamed up to leave me behind? What secret are they hiding that I'm not worthy of knowing?'

Especially Ah Yin. Just yesterday, she had been warm and affectionate, showing the tenderness of a lover. Now, she treated him like an outsider, whispering and conspiring with Bibi Dong as if he were a thief.

'What happened? Did I overdo it yesterday and make her tired of me? Or is she the type of woman who takes advantage of someone and then turns away?'

Zhao Ling tried to rationalize the situation. No, that doesn't seem right. Based on her character in the original story, Ah Yin isn't like that.

Letting out a frustrated sigh, he obediently maintained his distance, trying to avoid their glares.

Meanwhile, in the foreground, the two women were deep in discussion.

"Sister Dong'er, are you willing or not? If not, I'll have to find someone else to be my sister," Ah Yin said impatiently.

Bibi Dong, seeing Ah Yin's anxious expression, softened her own demeanor and replied slowly, "I don't think it's a good idea. Who knows what Brother Zhao's intentions are? Besides, I don't want to steal someone's love."

Ah Yin frowned in disbelief. 'What nonsense is this? Just the day before yesterday, she fought with me over Brother Ling, and even kissed him in front of me. And now she's saying she doesn't want to interfere?'

"Sister Dong'er, what are you talking about? You and I both know you like Brother Ling, and it's obvious he likes you too. Don't deny your feelings."

Ah Yin grasped Bibi Dong's arm and looked at her with wide, pleading eyes.

Bibi Dong avoided her gaze, feigning composure. "Don't talk nonsense. I'm not someone who meddles in other people's relationships. Since Brother Zhao has already had… intimate contact with you, it's clear his heart belongs to you. I can't be a third party in your relationship."

Her righteous tone only made Ah Yin more exasperated. Third party? Who's she trying to fool?

Desperate, Ah Yin clasped her hands together and begged, "Sister Dong'er, please don't reject this idea so quickly. Can't you at least hear me out? Please?"

Bibi Dong raised an eyebrow, intrigued. Just how much of a handful is Brother Zhao that Ah Yin is this desperate? Could it be that he's… particularly intense in some areas? Is that why Ah Yin suddenly wants to recruit more 'sisters' to share the load?

The thought amused her, but she suppressed a laugh. Despite her curiosity, Bibi Dong hesitated.

Her reservations were not entirely selfish. As the disciple of the current Pope and a high-ranking figure in the Spirit Hall, Bibi Dong knew her actions would be heavily scrutinized. If she were to engage in a relationship without the consent of her master and the Spirit Hall's elders, it could lead to disastrous consequences.

Even though she liked Zhao Ling, she couldn't afford to openly defy the Spirit Hall—not yet. Her recent brush with reckless love, as revealed in Zhao Ling's diary, served as a painful reminder of the consequences of defying her master's wishes.

If not for Ah Yin's provocations, Bibi Dong wouldn't have thrown herself into Zhao Ling's arms the day before yesterday. And while the passionate kiss had felt right in the moment, she regretted it upon reflection. She couldn't ignore the looming threat of her master's wrath.

With a sigh, Bibi Dong cut Ah Yin off. "Enough. You don't need to persuade me anymore. I can't agree to this—at least, not without my teacher's approval. I won't do anything to hurt myself or Brother Ling."

Ah Yin's eyes widened in realization. Bibi Dong's situation was different from hers. Unlike Ah Yin, who was free to love as she pleased, Bibi Dong was bound by the expectations of the Spirit Hall.

Ah Yin couldn't help but glance back at Zhao Ling, her heart heavy. It seemed she would have to face him alone for a long time to come.

Zhao Ling, oblivious to their conversation, noticed Ah Yin's pitiful expression and was baffled. What's wrong with her? Why does she look like she's about to cry? Did someone bully her?

The trio eventually arrived at the Great Fighting Soul Arena, where they purchased tickets.

As soon as they entered, Ju Douluo approached Bibi Dong and informed her of her matches for the day: five individual matches and one team match. Bibi Dong nodded and left to prepare.

Zhao Ling and Ah Yin, meanwhile, searched for their seats. Though they usually preferred wandering through the audience area to watch various matches, Ah Yin insisted on VIP seats today, claiming it was inconvenient and tiring to stand for long periods.

After several minutes of searching, Zhao Ling found their seats. He sat down first, but when Ah Yin moved to sit in her chair, he scooped her up and placed her sideways on his lap.

"Zhao Ling!" Ah Yin shot him a playful glare, rolling her eyes. Despite her annoyance, she didn't resist and leaned against his chest with a resigned smile.
