I turned to see Ramsey Rosso, also known as Bloodwork, standing before me. He was impeccably dressed in a suit and tie, as though he were attending a business meeting. I suppose, in a way, he was.

"Yes, I'm Barry Allen," I said, extending my hand.

Ramsey shook it firmly. "Dr. Ramsey Rosso. If you don't mind, I have a few questions first."

"Of course, go ahead," I replied.

"Who was that person speaking on the phone? I could tell it was a woman. She mentioned something about you creating something that would revolutionize the medical field. What exactly is it, and why the secrecy?" Ramsey asked, his curiosity piqued.

I smirked. "The person on the phone was Gideon, a friend of mine. The project is something scientists have been working on for decades—a technology aimed at eradicating cancer and reducing aging. As for the secrecy, let's just say it's necessary."

Ramsey nodded at the mention of Gideon but raised an eyebrow at the latter part of my explanation. His confusion about my vague answers was evident.

"I can see you're puzzled. Rather than explaining, let me show you," I said, opening my briefcase to reveal a collection of miniature nanobots.

Ramsey's eyes widened with fascination and surprise. "Is this what I think it is?"

"Yes," I confirmed with a smile. "Fully functional nanotechnology capable of eradicating foreign pathogens and repairing cellular damage."

"You've tested it, I assume?" Ramsey asked.

"Yes, it works perfectly. It has successfully repaired cellular damage in the human body," I answered.

"Why me, though? There are plenty of other scientists and doctors you could have approached," Ramsey inquired.

"Simply put, I trust you. You're one of the good doctors who genuinely wants to find new treatments and improve lives," I said.

"What's the catch?" Ramsey asked, a skeptical look on his face.

"The only catch is that I ask you to keep my name out of it," I replied.

"Why?" Ramsey asked, raising an eyebrow. "You've created something remarkable that could make a significant impact. Don't you want people to know you were behind it?"

I sighed. "Ramsey, can I call you that? The reason for the secrecy is because an old enemy of mine harbors an immense amount of hatred toward me."

"Why are you enemies with this person? What did you do?" Ramsey pressed.

"He used to admire me," I began. "He respected all the good I did until he began to detest me for one simple reason."

"What reason?" Ramsey asked.

"Because he couldn't be me," I answered.

"What?" Ramsey was puzzled.

"I know it sounds like an obsession taken to an extreme," I said.

"So, the secrecy is because you're worried he might discredit or steal your work on nanotechnology?" Ramsey said, connecting the dots.

"Exactly. I can't divulge much more; you'll just have to trust me," I said.

Ramsey huffed in frustration. "Fine, I'll leave your name out of it, but I still have more questions."

"I expected that. But not right now. Ramsey, you need to understand that this person is dangerous," I warned.

"Does this mystery man have a name?" Ramsey asked.

"I'm afraid I can't tell you that. The last thing I want is for you or your loved ones to be in danger," I said.

"This person is so dangerous you can't even disclose his name?" Ramsey asked, intrigued.

"Yes. I don't like being vague, but you need to understand that he's willing to kill if it means I suffer," I explained.

Ramsey raised an eyebrow, clearly wanting more information, but realizing he might only get vague answers. He was clearly frustrated by the lack of clarity but seemed to accept my intentions were genuine.

"Fine, I won't press further about this mystery man for now," he said reluctantly.

The meeting with Ramsey went well. While he might be slow to trust me due to the scant information about Mr. Thawne, he remains a valuable ally. Despite his cautious nature, he will be crucial, especially since I might face Superman's enemies or even The Flash's. The thought of battling foes like Doomsday, Metallo, or Darkseid is daunting. My recent actions, including collecting Superman's blood sample, show the necessity of allies like Ramsey.

Ramsey provided me with his contact number and agreed to transfer 10% of the nanotechnology profits to my private account. The sum was substantial—around $50,000 for just 10%. The full amount must be significant. With this money, I've gathered materials to construct my Flash suit from Season 1, complete with the White Emblem.

**Flashback:**

I entered Ramsey's lab, which resembled the one from Season 6. I had called ahead to let him know I had a surprise that would interest him. We had exchanged calls occasionally, but he remained cautious. He had become a doctor to heal people, and despite my vague responses, he hadn't shown outright distrust.

"Late night," I announced, catching Ramsey's attention.

Startled, Ramsey placed a hand on his chest. He knew I would be showing him something, but he didn't expect me so soon. His nanotechnology had revolutionized cancer treatment, and he was aware of a personal vendetta against me. He was good at reading people and had found me to be a good man, despite my vague answers.

"Don't sneak up on people like that," Ramsey scolded.

"Sorry, I'll make sure to announce myself next time," I said with a sheepish grin.

Ramsey's expression softened. "No worries. So, are you going to show me this surprise?" he asked, closing the lab door.

I reached into my pocket and pulled out a vial of blood.

"What's this?" Ramsey asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Why don't you take a look for yourself?" I suggested.

Ramsey sighed but took the vial. He put on gloves and placed a droplet of blood under the microscope. At first glance, it appeared human, but closer inspection revealed it was different. Ramsey, one of the world's leading blood specialists, was fascinated.

"Where did you get this?" Ramsey asked, intrigued.

I had anticipated this and prepared a lie. "Have you ever seen *Jurassic Park*? They found dinosaur blood preserved in amber. Imagine my surprise when I discovered this was still alive."

"That's impossible! Blood can't survive that long!" Ramsey exclaimed.

"I thought so too, until I realized it might be getting nutrients from sunlight," I explained.

"Sunlight?" Ramsey was curious.

"Let me show you," I said, retrieving a UV flashlight.

I exposed the blood to the light. "Take a look," I said, inviting Ramsey to use the microscope.

As Ramsey examined the blood, he saw it absorbing solar radiation. "Fascinating," he said, adjusting the microscope to observe the active blood cells. "You weren't kidding."

"I have a theory, but we need to test it," I said.

"What theory?" Ramsey asked.

"I believe this blood can absorb all forms of radiation, not just solar. Alpha, Beta, Gamma, X-ray," I explained.

"How is that possible?" Ramsey asked, astonished.

"I don't know yet. We'll have to test it," I said, feigning surprise. I knew Kryptonians could convert radiation into energy. I hoped to gain Superman's powers, though "Superflash" sounded like a terrible name.

"This blood is extraordinary, almost alien," I concluded.

"Yes, Barry, you might have discovered extraterrestrial life," Ramsey said, awed.

"Maybe, but we need more study to confirm. Can you isolate the genetic code?" I asked.

"Barry, you may have discovered a new species," Ramsey said, still in awe.

"Can you isolate the genetic markers?" I pressed.

"It could take months or years. The DNA might be much larger than human DNA," Ramsey replied.
