Both Ava and Nova nodded like obedient children, still huddled together and whispering about how to stay on Lilith's good side for the rest of the night.

Lilith, feeling satisfied after ensuring Ava and Nova wouldn't get into any more trouble, spotted one of Ava's colleagues, someone she'd seen Ava talking to before. Deciding it was best to delegate, she approached her.

Nora froze as soon as she noticed Lilith walking toward her. Her eyes widened in shock—Lilith rarely spoke to anyone except Ava and Nova, and her intimidating aura didn't help calm Nora's nerves.

"Y-yes, M-Miss Lilith?" Nora stammered, her voice shaky.

Lilith gave her a brief, piercing look before pointing at the sofa where Ava and Nova were slumped. "Take care of them," she said simply.
