I didn't understand why Melissa loved doing things to make my blood rise! "You will leave this place right now! You understand me??"

"Stop yelling, Nina isn't asleep." Melissa whispered, dragging me to our room then she shut the door right. "Okay Derek, why have you been treating me this way! I have always been there for you. I care about you and I listen to everything you say--"

"--you called my mother spewing nonsense! This isn't the first time, and I have warned you severally. Are you so stupid you don't listen at all?? I hate when you do stuff like this! And do you know the worse--"

Her phone rang again for like the 100th time that evening. "Melissa, are you cheating on me??"

She scoffed, unable to hide the shock in her eyes. Shock? Was she actually cheating on me??

"Baby, it's not what you think--" she pleaded but I snatched the phone from her hand to look at who had been calling.
