章節 36: That Bitch Is Going To Regret

Brooke almost crashed her car into the fountain then she jumped out of the car and angrily stormed into the house, her face flushed with anger. She slammed the door shut, the sound echoing through the entire place.

Lottie, who had been sitting in front of the television and was startled by Brooke's erratic driving looked at the door in concern.

"Hey Brooke, are you okay honey? is something wrong?"

Without giving Lottie an answer, Brooke ran up the stairs to her room and slammed that door shut also. Lottie jumped off the chair in alarm and quickly went up the stairs to Brooke's room.

She slowly opened the door and found Brooke sobbing into her pillow and she felt rage swell in her chest at whatever might have gotten Brooke upset.

"What happened?" Lottie asked, her voice soft and when Brooke did not answer she came and sat on the bed beside her and patted her back sympathetically.
