And that didn't even mention the biggest power up Oliver gained with his new class, the Traits.
First of all came the basic class Trait any pure magic class gained, the Pure Magic trait. It was often times looked down upon due to this fact, but its effects were incredibly powerful.
In fact, Oliver wouldn't be surprised that if this trait wasn't a class trait and had a proper grade, it would be a bronze or even a silver trait. Something most never even dared to dream of.
That was because it effected the multiplier or effectiveness of your, arguably two most important magic attributes, power and mana pool.
Multiplier didn't increase the number of the stat, no, it increased how much each point in a stat was worth. Pure Magic bringing the base multiplier of 1x to a 2x.
Normally it was close to impossible to find a way to increase your multipliers, as only incredibly powerful traits, titles, classes etc could do that.
This was also the reason why, even though the stat total of challengers on higher floors was minimal. The difference between the elite and normal challengers continued to widen the higher one climbed.
[Pure Magic]
Description: doubles the effectiveness of magic power and mana.
The second trait was Universal Mana Network, and anyone who took even the slightest of glimpses at it could tell how incredible this trait was. Not only would it allow Oliver to wield all elements. It did so within one mana network, with no side effects.
Wielding multiple elements was incredibly rare, but not unseen. Oliver himself had met multiple mages who could wield up to 2 elements. Yet all of them saw more drawbacks than benefits from this.
Either they had two mana networks, which would inherently weaken both to make sure they didn't interfere with each other, or they had one mana network that constantly switched. This made it impossible to cast 2 element side by side as they needed minutes to switch their network.
[Universal Mana Network]
Description: able to use all magic elements with one mana network.
Hyper sensitivity was also obviously powerful, although the superior reaction time and other increases were less handy to mages than to speed based classes. It was still immensely helpful with close to everything.
[Hyper sensitivity]
Description: evolves the speed stat to the superior Agility stat, not only enhancing speed but also senses, reaction time and so on.
Mana engine to, was insane. It essentially eliminated one of the mages biggest weaknesses, their limited fuel. Of course Oliver could still run out, but now with a multiplier increase of 5x from the talent enhancing potions, and 60x from this trait, it was close to impossible if he managed it well with a 300x multiplier.
[Mana Engine]
Description: your mana core becomes more proficient in absorbing mana from the outside world, mana regeneration multiplied by 60.
Magic Prodigy was yet another trait he was extremely pleased with, but also kind of expected. It was an increase in basically talent for understanding and learning new magic.
Oliver didn't know if this was also some sort of hidden stat, and honestly knowing the tower it could verry well be. But that didn't matter, he had the 5 times multiplier either way.
[Magic Prodigy]
Description: learning and increasing proficiency with any time of magic, all be it spells or runes, is increased by 5 times.
Unlike the other traits, which were amazing but also kind of expected, or at the verry least hoped for by Oliver after he saw the #1 behind his grade, the Inner world trait was a whole other beast.
Having once own world with a time dilation of 1 to 10 was one thing. The tower hub world had plenty of magic engineering after all, and had plenty ways to copy such an effect through VR training.
But to be able to take things in there, really effect them, and gain proficiency with them, was totally insane.
Such expensive VR training had always been balanced due to the fact that the only thing one could train in there was combat experience. But to be able to gain proficiency was essentially giving Oliver 10 times more time to prepare to challenge his next floor.
[Inner world]
Description: you gain an inner world. You are able to move to this inner world, and are able to gain proficiency in any sort of action while preforming them within the inner world. The inner world can be shaped to once own imagination, and has a time dilation of 1 to 10.
But to Olivers amazement Inner world wasn't the most amazing trait he had gotten access too, no, not in the slightest.
If Oliver was honest with himself he would be able to part with every other benefit he had gained until now simply for this one trait, Magic Evolution.
The possibility to gain stats outside the floors of the tower.
If this traits stats were leaked Oliver would be swarm recruited even by the most prestige's races of the tower. That was how insane this was.
There were of course methods to increase AP while in the hub worlds, but those were limited and could only be done once.
There were for example a few challenge parcourse that could be completed to gain speed, strength and endurance AP. But that was limited to one time only, and only granted 10 AP each.
And these opportunities were extremely limited, amounting to at the verry best one per hub world.
But now Oliver could basically raise 3 of his magic attributes infinitely. Of course Oliver wasn't that delusional, he knew that it was probably incredibly hard to even raise your AP by 1 through this method, but, it was still incredible.
[Magic Evolution]
Description: Your body is able to adapt to continues training related to magic, you are no longer bound by the towers restrictions. Studying magic will permanently increase intuition. Circling your mana will permanently increase regeneration rate. Compressing your mana in your core will permanently increase mana capacity.
The amount of Traits Oliver gained was honestly little, even his previous bronze class gave him double. But it was also obvious that Oliver wouldn't even trade one of his traits now for even double the amount and quantity that he had in his previous life.
Now done looking over his stats Oliver, after nearly an hour of receiving and evaluating rewards, was ready to step into the first hub world.
'Finally, some peace.'
