Yamato guards have been following the in shadow.
Seeing Yamato unleash her Conqueror's Haki, all three shadow guards stood frozen, unable to hide their shock.
"She really is the Captain's daughter," one of the guards murmured in disbelief.
The leader of the group had his eyes wide with surprise. He was one of the first chosen by Kaido to protect Yamato. Before taking this role, he had been a ruthless killer who preferred to work alone, never caring much for his partners. At first, he couldn't understand why Kaido would assign him to guard his daughter. But over time, observing her from the shadows, he saw a different kind of freedom in her—one that had nothing to do with the chaotic life of a pirate. Watching her grow up, make friends, and live with a carefree spirit made him reflect on his own isolation.
"I guess I finally understand what Captain Kaido wanted me to learn," he thought to himself. Kaido had been teaching him the value of teamwork and leadership, something the guard never thought he needed.
As one of the kidnappers pulled out a gun, the leader snapped into action. "Boys, looks like our easy days are over," he said to his companions.
They knew that with Yamato now having awakened her Conqueror's Haki, it was only a matter of time before she sought out Kaido to learn more about Haki . But for now, they focused on capturing the kidnappers and returning the stolen children to their parents.

Back in the auction house, Kaido stood among lavish items and priceless treasures, towering over everyone present. The three shadow guards entered the room and dropped to their knees before him, heads bowed in respect."Captain, we have completed the task you assigned us," the leader of the guards reported, his voice steady but laced with tension. "There was an incident involving a kidnapping attempt on Yamato and some other children. Yamato used… Conqueror's Haki to defend herself."
Kaido raised an eyebrow, his interest piqued. "Worororo… is that so?" His booming laughter echoed through the room, though there was a dangerous edge to it. " Yamato… already showing her power."
The guard continued. "We've apprehended the kidnappers, but it seems they had help. They managed to slip through the island's security with assistance from a corrupt officer."
Kaido's face darkened at the mention of betrayal within his own ranks. "Is that so?" His voice was calm, but there was a dangerous undertone.
Turning to one of his subordinates, Kaido gave a simple command. "Buy anything valuable here. I'm done with this auction." Then, without another word, he left.

Back at his office, Kaido called out, "Daniel."
"Yes, Captain?" Daniel quickly replied, appearing before him.
"Deploy a search operation immediately. I want to know everything about those kidnappers—how they got onto Shirakawa Island with such tight security."
"Understood, Captain. I'll handle it," Daniel responded, leaving to carry out his orders.
After the search was complete, Daniel returned with a report. Kaido skimmed through it and quickly discovered the source of the problem: a corrupt officer working in secret with the Mafia. His face twisted with disgust. Without hesitation, he stormed into Wali's office, tossing the incriminating report onto his desk.
"Is this how you're handling things, Wali?" Kaido's deep voice echoed, sending a chill through the room.
Wali's hands shook as he read the report, his face paling. He immediately dropped to his knees before Kaido. "Captain… it's my failure. Please punish me."
"Hmph," Kaido growled, unimpressed. "I don't need your excuses, Wali. I entrusted you with managing operations on Shirakawa Island, and this is how you repay me? Do I really need to teach you how to check the backgrounds of your own men?" His voice was heavy with disappointment.
Wali bowed his head even lower. "I'll fix it immediately, Captain. I swear I'll correct this mistake."
Kaido's gaze softened slightly, though his tone remained firm. "See that you do. I won't tolerate any more illegal activity on Shirakawa Island."
"Yes, Captain. I'll take care of it right away."
Kaido gave a small, dangerous smirk. "Heh, I hope you don't disappoint me again."
---
With Wali on high alert, a massive purge of the Mafia's influence across Shirakawa Island began. Corrupt officers were swiftly identified and removed, and the Mafia's hidden operations were dismantled within days. Wali, determined to redeem himself in Kaido's eyes, left no stone unturned, ensuring that Shirakawa was cleansed of all illegal activities.
As the purge continued, Kaido sat in his office, reflecting on the day's events. Yamato's Conqueror's Haki had surprised him, but it was also a sign that she was growing stronger, and it was time for her to start proper training.
"Conqueror's Haki, huh?" Kaido muttered to himself. "It's time to meet her." A grin spread across his face as he stood up. "King," he called out.
King, who had been quietly standing by, stepped forward. "Yes, Captain?"
"Congratulations, King. You're about to get your first apprentice."
King, who had spent years mastering the sword and studying swordsmanship from the greatest masters across the new world, nodded in acknowledgment. "As you command, Captain."
Kaido chuckled, noticing how serious King was. "Hey hey, why are you always so uptight? Relax a little."
King gave a small nod, loosening up just a bit. "As you say, Captain."
Kaido grinned, pleased with his second-in-command's response. "That's more like it. Teach that little girl well."
King, who had honed his skills with various sword masters, was now entrusted with training Yamato. His knowledge and experience with different styles of combat would be invaluable in guiding her to reach her full potential. As Kaido watched his crew grow stronger, his ambitions continued to rise.
"Its time to teach local snake, their is a dragon among them."
