章節 5: Diagon alley part-2
Kevin are his breakfast. Yesterday he took revenge on the boys who bullied him until now. He made them dance yesterday while throwing the food the matron gave them. They even behaved crazily and the matron punished them by not giving them food today.
Kevin waited for McGonagall to arrive. He saw appear in front of him and after taking him using apparition she said wait here. It's not diagon alley. She entered a house which is a good house considering he lived in orphanage. After a few moments with McGonagall two adults and small girl who is jumping appeared.
She looks cute, just like the movie version of hers. Kevin looked at the loli who immediately stopped jumping happily as soon as she saw him and her expression turned into curious and proud one. Kevin has a question mark on why she is proud.
Hermione approached him stariaght and asked," A student needs time wear clean and tidy clothing. Yours looks old and wrinkled. A student must appear neat, you don't develop discipline like this ".
Kevin looked at himself and knew the clothed are old ones. But what can he do? He is just an orphan and this is best clothes at this moment. The three adults talking with each other didn't notice them thinking two children are interacting.
Kevin looked at her and didn't say anything, he felt a little jealousy inside, she has parents and money but he has no one else like in simulation life and he is also sad he can't protect them in the simulated life. Hermione is displeased and wanted to say more when McGonagall introduced Kevin," Mr and Mrs Granger, this is the other wizard I'm talking about. He is Kevin Cross, he lives in St Peter's orphanage few blocks far from here ".
Hermione mouth that curled up to say something immediately became tight shut as she swallowed her words. Living in orphanage means an orphan, either abandoned or left heartlessly by their parents. She regretted saying those words.
The couple looked at him with sympathy while Kevin felt uncomfortable and irritated by the gaze. Hermione looked at him and don't know how to apologize. More like she is too proud to say an apology. She felt guilt at the same time she cursed herself while remembering her classmates words, ' you walking book worm who only knows how to read books, books and books. You'll be alone all your life. You don't even know how to talk to others and hurt them with every single word you spoke. You'll have no friends like this miss know it all '.
Tears welled up in her eyes. She rubbed the m away before anyone can see and looked at Kevin hesitantly. Before she can utter a word McGonagall said," Okay I have other work to do in school. Let's get this done quickly ".
She waved her wand in air and summoned the knight bus while Kevin's eyes lit up. For others it's a horrible experience but for him it's a roller coaster ride. They boarded the bus while Hermione held his sleeve and wanted to say something.
But before she can speak again the bus twisted and moved making everyone scream while Kevin shouted," Yes, go faster", Kevin lost the feeling of enjoying rolelr coaster and in the simulated life he used knight bus as a roller coaster ride a few times. It's weird but this is also fun considering many like roller coaster and Kevin is one of them.
After they're dropped at their destination Hermione almost threw up while Kevin asked," Yay, let's go again. Roller coaster ride is amazing ", Hermione looked at him in horror. McGonagall also blinked her eyes. Because just like Alexander, Kevin also liked the ride of knight bus many don't enjoy.
McGonagall coughed and said," Okay let's not waste our time. We have many things to buy today", Kevin looked at her and asked in a shaky tone(acting), " B-but I'm poor. I don't even have a pound on me. H-how am I able to buy the supplies for school ", McGonagall looked at him and said," You don't need to worry. Hogwarts has a Educational reform. The founders donated all their wealth to hogwarts and asked to help students like you. Even the ministry needs to bear the cost of children's education due to the contract".
