X Vin's world was shattered by the news. He stared at Reynoil in disbelief, his finger instinctively tightening on the trigger. But the gun jammed, refusing to fire. He frantically pressed the trigger again and again, but it wouldn't budge. In a rage, he aimed at a nearby object and fired, confirming the gun was working. Yet, when he returned the barrel to Reynoil's head, it jammed once more.
Enraged, X Vin used the gun to bludgeon Reynoil, then unleashed a flurry of brutal punches. Finally, he fled the church, racing towards his private plane. Consumed by the devastating news about his parents, he needed to see the truth for himself.
"Take me back to Divel, now!" he barked, boarding the plane. The pilot swiftly obeyed, starting the engines and lifting off into the sky.
X Vin's mind was a maelstrom of panic, his emotions in turmoil as he struggled to come to terms with the devastating news. He felt like he was trapped in a never-ending nightmare, desperate to escape the agony that gripped him.
The plane's swift journey seemed to drag on interminably, each passing moment an eternity. Finally, it touched down on his private airstrip, and X Vin leapt into his waiting car, speeding towards his parents' house with a sense of dread.
As he screeched to a halt outside, his heart sank at the sight of police cars and an ambulance clustered around the familiar building. He leapt out, his long strides devouring the distance to the front door. The officers and paramedics parted, their faces somber, as X Vin burst into the house. And then, he saw them – his parents, lifeless on the floor, their bodies still and cold. The sight was like a punch to the gut, leaving X Vin breathless and reeling.
"Mom! Dad!" X Vin wailed, collapsing to the ground beside them. He grasped their lifeless bodies, shaking them frantically, but there was only silence. "No!!!" he screamed, his voice shattering the stillness. "Please, come back! Mom! Dad!" He begged, his cries growing more desperate.
Then, the memory of their last words hit him like a ton of bricks - "We won't be here forever." The weight of their permanence crushed him. X Vin, who had never shed a tear before, felt his emotions unravel as grief consumed him. Tears streamed down his face, unstoppable and unrelenting. "No!!!" he screamed again, his body wracked with sobs, as the reality of their loss became too much to bear.
One of the officers, still intimidated by X Vin, mustered the courage to approach him. "Sir, I'm so sorry for your loss, but we need to take the bodies," she said, her voice shaking.
X Vin's gaze snapped up, his eyes blazing with anger and denial. "No! My parents are not dead!" he bellowed, surging to his feet. He towered over the officer, his fists clenched, as he demanded, "Who did this? What happened?"
The officer cowered, but tried to explain, "Sir, that's why we need to take them for autopsy."
X Vin's grip on her shirt tightened, his tears flowing uncontrollably as he pleaded, "Tell me!"
Suddenly, he released her and stormed out of the house, his anguish boiling over. He leapt into his car, grabbed his phone, and dialed a number. The moment the person answered, X Vin growled, "Find out what happened to my parents." Then, he slammed down the phone, his eyes fixed on some unseen point, his mind consumed by a burning need for answers.
Just as X Vin's world was reeling from the loss of his parents, another devastating call pierced the air. "Sir, your wife and kids have been in an accident. They're at Divel Medical Center," the voice on the phone said.
X Vin didn't hesitate, dropping the phone as he sprang into action. He sped towards the hospital, his heart racing with an unrelenting ferocity. "No! No! No!" he repeated, his voice a mantra of denial as he pushed his car to its limits.
Upon arrival, he burst from the vehicle and stormed into the hospital, his presence commanding attention. The crowd parted as he charged forward, his eyes blazing with a mix of fear and fury. "Where are my wife and kids?" he thundered at the receptionist, who cowered under his intensity, hastily providing directions.
As X Vin sprinted down the corridor, he encountered the doctor, who recognized him and swallowed hard. "Where are they?" X Vin demanded, his voice echoing off the walls. The doctor trembled, "I'm sorry, sir... they didn't make it." X Vin's face contorted in anguish, his eyes flashing with a dangerous intensity, as if he might unleash his wrath upon the doctor at any moment.
X Vin's voice was barely audible, a low, dark whisper. "What are you saying?" he growled, his eyes blazing with a mix of anger and desperation.
The doctor trembled, "I'm sorry, sir... they didn't survive the journey here."
X Vin's grip on the doctor's shirt tightened, his fingers digging deep as he shook him violently. "No, doctor! You can't tell me that! Not my wife, not my children! Not after my parents!" he begged, his voice cracking with anguish.
The doctor cowered, "I'm sorry, sir... I'm so sorry."
X Vin's eyes wild with grief, he demanded, "Where are they?" The doctor hesitantly led him to the ward, where four shrouded figures lay.
X Vin's heart heavy with unease, he approached the first body, slowly lifting the cover. His wife's lifeless face stared back, sending his world crashing down. "No!" he wailed, collapsing to his knees beside her. "Liliana, please come back!" he pleaded, shaking her limp body, but there was only silence.
With a shattered heart, X Vin turned to the other bodies, and his children's faces met his gaze. The dam of his emotions burst, and he unleashed a primal wail, rolling on the floor in unbridled anguish, his body wracked with sobs.
X Vin's anguished cries echoed through the ward as he stumbled out, his legs buckling beneath him. He collapsed against the wall outside, sliding down to the ground as his body surrendered to grief. Wrapping his arms around himself, he wept uncontrollably, his mind shattered by the loss of his loved ones.
Just as he thought he couldn't bear more, his phone pierced the air with a shrill ring. X Vin hesitated, fearing another devastating blow. Finally, he mustered the courage to answer, and a crew member's frantic voice delivered the next crushing blow: "Sir, X Agency has been destroyed! The entire building has sunk into the ground, and everyone... everyone is gone!"
X Vin's world went dark, as if the very foundations of his existence had been ripped away. He felt his heart shattering into a million pieces, his breath escaping in a silent scream. The phone slipped from his fingers, and he slumped forward, his body wracked with sobs, his mind consumed by an unrelenting abyss of despair.
X Vin's voice reached a fever pitch as he wailed, "NOOOOO!"
