Will went back to his research and looked for any places or people he knew from his old memories. After hours of searching, he came to the conclusion that this world was still centered around the supernatural, and that, at least, was a good thing. He could deal with original vampires and powerful witches; he just didn't want to find that he suddenly had to deal with something like Marvel celestial bullshit. To his relief, he didn't find any indication of that being the case. So, for now, he could keep going as he initially planned, and the original vampires could be dealt with later, as he still had time to figure out what he was going to do about them.

In the days after the move, Bobby started spreading the knowledge from the bunker to other hunters, so Will expected that a lot of changes to the plot would start to take place in the future because, from now on, the hunters would be a lot harder to kill. Honestly, Will didn't care that much about what Bobby did because, except for his family and friends, he didn't really care what happened to other people. He had enough to worry about regarding how his whole family would survive the literal apocalypse and God going off the rails, so the life and death of some random people he had never spoken to or met were not among his concerns. He knew that this was not the healthiest way of living, but caring about the well-being of some strangers was not something he had done in his old life, and in this new dog-eat-dog world he found himself in, he cared a lot less.

About three months later, the group also managed to empty the dragons' lair of everything they considered important. The faces of Bobby and Dean when they saw the creature were priceless, as it still had its monstrous form after its death, and Will made sure to take a picture of them when they first saw it. They easily managed to transfer everything important from the cave to the bunker with this nifty little spell Will found in their new library that could, for a short time, link two doors in space, so they basically teleported the stuff from one place to the other. Even the dragon corpse was moved, as it was an important ingredient in a lot of cool stuff.

Six months had passed since the move, and the one who changed the most in the group of seven who called the bunker their new home was Will. As soon as he started learning the knowledge from the Men of Letters, Will really got to display his talents. He could memorize with perfection everything he read, so now he knew most of the magic rituals from the library in the bunker. Knowing it didn't mean he could perform every spell because, from what he discovered, there are four major paths for someone to dabble in the magical arts, and the difference was the source of power the spells used.
The most common were specific rituals that drew the power directly from the ingredients. The second was something Will didn't want to touch for now because it was necessary to make a pact with a demon, where you basically sold your soul.
The third was something that the Men of Letters perfected, where you could use your own soul as a power source, but you would need to be very careful because when your soul ran out of juice, casting the spells again would result in permanent damage to the soul, so it was necessary to let the soul rest and recharge for a few days.
The last one was available only to a select few bloodlines that used the power of their ancestors, who somehow didn't go to heaven or hell but remained in a spiritual form on Earth, so you basically used the power of their souls, and Will was not one of those select few.
So, from the four paths of magic he had knowledge of, he could use the first and third. He didn't have time yet to go through everything, but there should be a few more years left until the start of the show, so he still had time to finish reading everything and try to possibly come up with something new.

About nine months later, Will made the important discovery of the power source for the wards surrounding the bunker that kept out everything except angels and the most powerful gods like Chuck and Death. Will planned to change the wards to at least also keep the angels out, as for Chuck and beings of his caliber, he didn't know if there was anything that could keep them out because Death could easily go to places like the cage holding Lucy.
This discovery was important to Will because the power for those wards was surprisingly a soul. It was not just any soul the Men of Letters found it on the side of the road. It was the soul of one of the Men of Letters who helped set up the wards.
Will was excited about this find because they invented a container that could hold the soul for a long time and not let it be turned into a vengeful ghost, that was what usually happened to a soul that didn't move on to the afterlife. He knew the perfect use for this, but he had to wait a few more years before he implemented it.

Now, over a year had passed, and Will was currently browsing the records of weapons capable of killing the princess of hell, as he always had this nagging feeling at the back of his mind that the Colt would not be enough. After all that had happened so far, Will didn't have any reason not to trust his instincts. So, as he was currently turning pages alone in the library, he suddenly stopped when he found the photo of a very special blade he knew from the show.
As soon as he laid his eyes on it, everything else around him didn't matter.
It was The first blade.
Will stood up suddenly and started heading to Missouri because every fiber of his being told him he needed to head out immediately and get something very important for his future.
A boring chapter I know but I have to get this stuff out of the way for the story to make some sense in the future.
The next ch the MC will get something very cool, most of you who watched supernatural probably guessed what it is already.
