章節 125: HARLEY: Another Woman

I stared at Sylus, noting the mix of worry and displeasure on his face.

"Sylus—" 

He stalked right straight to me, cradling my cheeks and pulling me into a kiss, deep and so sure like if he didn't, I would disappear or vanish from him. My hand reached for his wrists and the second he broke the kiss, I gulped air into my lungs, lifting my eyes to meet his green ones that were boring me into the bed. 

"Sylus?"

"What's going on, Harley?" he asked, cupping my face. "Why weren't you answering my calls? I tried calling you a lot of times." 

The worry in his tone was clear. And It really hadn;t been my intention in any way to have him concerned for me. I was just…

I bit into my bottom lip and let go of his wrists, slipping off to get up from the bed. "Harley," he called, turning around to watch me as I walked over to the chair, taking my seat. 

"Is something going on?" he asked. "Can you please tell me? Did someone hurt you?"
