Ava's POV:

After my awful reply last night, Yan didn't talk about it or even try to refute; maybe he thought I was right because I was.

The kids, Cynthia, Yan, and me all sat around the table having breakfast with me trying to force Fred into having a meal, not knowing Ryan will also be a problem for me today.

"Can you just eat?" I frowned at them; couldn't they be like Lily, who always took her food seriously?

"I can't eat much; I have a football game with my father. I can't overfeed." Ryan pouted, and I sighed. It was just a game, so why starve for it?

"Hello?" Yan stood up after he received a phone call and left. I suddenly realized how cute and healthy he actually is, with his strong cheek bones and long nose. Also, that perfect British accent made me go crazy just listening to him say hello.

"Earth to Ava," Cynthia chuckled, and I tried to act normal even though my smile gave it all away.
