I'm really enjoying this xianxia fanfic, I read the original BTTH a while back but only the first few arcs. I was initially worried the MC would become a simp in pursuit of love. Thankfully the Mc maintains his dignity and forms sincere loving relationships. The Mc is also reasonable and actually repays his debts. He doesn't massacre innocents and makes an effort to help his group grow in power. The pacing is quicker compared to the source material but that's normal for most Xianxia genre fanfics. The grammar has no glaring mistakes and flows very well. The update schedule is fantastic also. In terms of world background it explains some stuff but you need to have some familiarity with the source material to enjoy it more. This isn't really a criticism because it's applicable to most fanfics. Overall I give this fic a big thumbs up 👍. I binged the chapters pretty quickly.
Decent story with a great translator! The update speed is insane and the quality of the translation is also good. It's more of a slice of life type story with a tiny amount of action. Overall, a nice read to pass the time!

There are some things I don't like about the plot, but that's not the fault of the translator, the translation is done perfect and I don't have the heart to give this anything less than five stars.
The Translation is excellent. The author's Notes are Amusing and Great to read. The Story is great. if you start, you will want to keep reading it. . . . Keep up the excellent work author.👍👍
The translator is good but the story dies when he chooses the poison girl as the main heroine. She lacks the finesse, character, and conviction to be the main girl. She is at best a good side piece to keep in the background because she offers hardly anything besides a pretty face in this story. The MC is a hypocrite and some of the people are OOCs. The romance is bland with no chemistry or build-up at all.
Love this book! It must be the only book that updates everyday in batches!!😅😅. The translation is also top notch! So glad this work is made! 🙏
low key shit is tight. couple spelling errors here and there but Def one of the better translated Chinese stories. wish I could give updating more than 5 stars it deserves 7 for dropping like anywhere from 20-40 chapters a day woth good quality
It's a chainese fic. you can expect it to live up to the name. But I will say, that this one is quite polished compares to the others. There is nothing remarkable but putting them all together, it creates quite a remarkable story. I bunge a hundred or so chapters in a day. that should say so. ething. Overall, I like it. But I'm not going to say it's a great book and you should read it. Simply, I like it

I don't have much to say. I just want to see Gu Xun'er regret cheating on MC. Hopefully she will also fall out with Xiao Yan. I just can't stand cheaters even if it's a fictional one. However, the story is quite good. It's one of my fave fanfics of BTTH so far. And the translation was also well done. Just keep it up :D
Pretty good so far. I see some people complaining about him falling for Xun'er despite knowing the plot. But, I can see that happening. She basically spent most of her childhood in the Xiao clan, making his memories with her insignificant. And since she's the main heroine, he'll fantasize about her. Given the fact that they don't have many memories together, he'll, to a point, ignore the fact that she's still a kid and fantasize about the future, adult her. I also saw some complaining about emotional blackmailing. I say, why don't you complain about the k**lings, too? But I know that you're just worried that he'll be led around by her. Don't worry, he won't be.
Everything is going well so far, I just hope the translator doesn't end up abandoning the story. Death to Xiao Yan........................................................................................................
