The sun had barely touched the treetops when the elder wolf's words began to settle in the back of my mind. Sabrina was far from defeated. For now, our pack had won, but there was a quiet, ominous feeling of unfinished business lingering in the cool morning air.

I felt Sebastian's hand tighten on my shoulder as if sensing my worry. He turned me gently to face him, his eyes soft but steady. "Hey, no dark thoughts yet," he murmured, brushing a stray hair from my cheek. "We made it through tonight. We'll handle whatever comes next, alright?"

I offered him a faint smile, nodding. "Alright. It's just… I can't shake the feeling she'll come back stronger, Seb. And I don't want anyone else in the pack hurt."

"We'll be ready for her, Fiona," he reassured, a determination sharpening his gaze. "Sabrina's only strong when she thinks she has the upper hand. After last night, she'll hesitate."
