章節 26: Ch 26: Unwanted interests

That encounter left Lisa terrified. She twisted and turned the whole night, but sleep was nowhere to be seen. 

When Lisa threw her covers off herself the next day, she felt exhausted and lethargic. Her eyes started to close and remained glued like that every time Lisa opened them.

She even dropped her phone twice while checking the time on it.

Lisa had woken up at 05:30 when she checked her phone before, but it only felt like she blinked, and it was already 06:00.

The alarm blared to life, and Lisa finally dragged herself out of bed and into the shower.

Throwing cold water on her back helped Lisa wake up, and her body felt marginally lighter than before. But still, the symptoms of tiredness did not go away.

Living in the boss's mansion was a special privilege that few people got, so you would expect the house to be silent during the morning hours.
