Cameron’s P.O.V

It was about half an hour after Freya had fallen asleep in my arms that I crawled out of bed and tucked Freya in safely.

Placing a tender kiss to her forehead, I moved back to watch her sleep peacefully. My heart felt full, complete. It was a miracle that Freya returned my feelings after everything she had been through. But I was glad that we could move past our differences, our misunderstandings, to finally form a beautiful bond of our own.

This was her home now; I was her home. And I would never let anyone take that away from her.

Silently, I left the room, letting Freya rest in peace as I made my way to my father’s office. He usually wasn’t up till this late, unless it was an emergency, but today counted as an emergency.

Knocking on the door, I entered only after I was given permission…only to find Darcia and Sarah already there. Good. It saved me the trouble of having to call them in.
