章節 76: To save a town

The group arrived in a town, as Ritsuka looked around he still remembers what happened last night between him and Medusa and to be frank it did make they bonds stronger, he was sure it also levels up her skills that he has, he looked around

Kama then spoke. "Clean air, it is a rare sight in the modern world".

Mash looked at her. "Do gods of Nature Complain about it"

Kama just scoped. "Yes a lot of them do, other try and preserve the ones that are left"

Morgan looked at her and nodded. "Fairy Briten has a lot of Nature, I think you would have like is there"

Kama just sighed. "I didn't think I would, I personally didn't care much about Nature but I do like it".

As then they heard a roar, as then they saw Wyvern, as Ritsuka pulled his arrow of the heart.

Ritsuka looked at the group. "Get Jalter dragon are here".

The few of Knight of the city went to fight as well, as Kama looked at one of the dragons rider

Kame then spoke. "No black Dragon, Jalter is not here, which means it someone's else"

As then landing from the dragon was two people, one Lancalot Berserk, and the other one was wearing a fix of noble outfit and that if executioner, he has white hair, fair skins, a sharp chine, as he was holding a sword that looks like it belong to guillotine

Sanson landed to the ground, as then his sky blue eyes meet Marie. "Ah Marie it looks I will take your life here this time as well"..

Mozart just looked at him and spoke. "Ah Sanson, it is not pleasure too see you again"

Ritsuka just looked at him. "Of course the famous french executioner would be summoned by someone trying to burn french to the ground".

Sanson just gave a bow. "In my defence this is my job". His eyes then landed on Kama. "My what a wonder woman, I won't mind having her Company for a night"

The group went silent, as then his eyes were cut as an arrow hit his dick.

Kama just spoked in a sweet voice. "Aww that you, but the only one who can see me that way is my Beloved Ritsuka else will I am taking there eyes".

Ritsuka looked at Sanson a spoke as he had fired the arrow as the tip was still on fire. "Wanna repeat that, also this noting servant can regenerate so this is noting to you"

Sanson winced, his eyes narrowing at the arrow lodged in his groin. "You think you can intimidate me, little archer?" he scoffed, although there was a hint of surprise in his tone. "I've endured worse than a simple flame."

Ritsuka smirked, "Oh, I'm counting on it. But remember, this is just the beginning." He readied another arrow, the glow of his skills enhancing the projectile with an eerie light.

Morgan stepped forward, her presence commanding attention. "Enough of this foolishness. We didn't come here to play games. What's your purpose, Sanson? Why summon the dragons in this peaceful town?"

Sanson straightened up, brushing off the embarrassment. "You misunderstand. I am but a servant carrying out my master's orders. The dragons are merely a means to an end. We seek to cleanse this town of its corruption."

Kama raised an eyebrow, unimpressed. "And what gives you the right to judge? You, of all people, who wielded the blade of death? How quaint."

"Everyone has their purpose," Sanson replied, his expression turning serious. "Even those who are born from darkness can bring about necessary change."

"Necessary?" Ritsuka interjected. "You mean destruction. This town hasn't wronged you or your master. Why not find a different way?"

Before Sanson could respond, the sound of roaring echoed again, signaling the return of the wyverns. The group braced themselves as the creatures swooped low, casting shadows over the town square.

Mash readied her shield, her eyes scanning the skies. "We need to protect the townsfolk! They're innocent in this."

"Indeed," Morgan added, drawing her sword. "We cannot allow this to continue. If it's a fight you want, Sanson, then we'll give you one."

Sanson chuckled darkly. "I welcome the challenge. But remember, I'm not alone. Lancelot, show them your strength!"

The berserk knight roared, his eyes glinting with fury. "For glory and honor!" He charged forward, brandishing his sword with reckless abandon.

Ritsuka's heart raced as he aimed his arrow at Lancelot. "Kama, can you distract him? We need to take out that berserk knight before he wreaks havoc."

"Leave it to me," Kama said with a mischievous grin. She stepped forward, her voice sweet yet laced with danger. "Hey, Lancelot! Aren't you tired of serving someone who only brings chaos? Why not join us instead?"

Lancelot halted, his instincts momentarily confused. "Arthurrrrrrr"

Kama sauntered closer, her charm radiating. "Think about it. You could be more than just a weapon for someone else. You could have your own destiny!"

Ritsuka seized the moment, releasing the arrow aimed at Sanson. It soared through the air, igniting as it struck true, but Sanson dodged with supernatural agility.

"Nice try, archer," Sanson taunted, "but I'm not so easily defeated!"

Suddenly, a roar from above interrupted the confrontation. The wyverns descended, swooping down toward the town, their scales glistening in the sunlight. Panic erupted among the townsfolk, who began to flee.

"Protect the civilians!" Mash shouted, rallying the knights of the city. She thrust her shield forward as a wyvern lunged at her, deflecting its powerful jaws with a determined cry.

"Ritsuka, we need a plan!" Morgan shouted, her blade cleaving through the air as she fought off a dragon.

"Right!" Ritsuka called back, his mind racing. "Kama, focus on Lancelot! Mash, keep the townsfolk safe! I'll deal with Sanson and the wyverns!"

With a nod, Kama moved to confront Lancelot, weaving her way through the chaos as Ritsuka prepared his next move. The battlefield was alive with clashing steel and roars of battle, and Ritsuka was determined to turn the tide in their favor.

Sanson went to attack Ritsuka but he jumped away as then he tryed to swing his sword at him but Marie just used a wind to send him back

Sanson hit a wall. "Marie, but I thought we had something special, but still how was it like, how did it feel when I killed when you head risk in the ground, tell me did you feel the organs of death".

Ritsuka then active one of his skill Love bind as Invisible chained binded Sanson to the ground.

Marie looked at him and spoke. "Your blade was noting but rusting, you trys en please people but it feels more like a waste, as you don't can try, your blade is too short and feels uncomfortable".

Ritsuka just blinked wondering what conversation he was hearing. "Marie... Are you complaining about his dick"

Literally the the whole battle ground just stopped fighting and looked at the three of them

The battlefield fell silent, tension hanging in the air as Ritsuka's words echoed. Warriors on both sides paused, their attention drawn to the bizarre turn of events. Sanson, still bound by Ritsuka's skill, looked utterly taken aback, his surprise morphing into indignation.

"Did you just—" Sanson sputtered, his face a mix of shock and embarrassment. "That's not relevant! We're in the middle of a battle!"

Marie crossed her arms, a smirk playing on her lips. "Well, it seems relevant if you think you can charm me with your outdated techniques. Honestly, I expected more from a famous executioner."

Ritsuka rubbed the back of his neck, still trying to process the unexpected conversation. "I mean… who knew executioners had such… uh, intimate problems?" He glanced around, noting the warriors trying desperately to hide their laughter, while others wore expressions of confusion.

Kama, watching with amusement, chimed in. "I think this is the first time I've seen a battle stop because of a… 'dick measuring contest.'"

The moment of levity didn't last long. Lancelot, seemingly forgotten, roared in frustration. "Are you all just going to stand there and talk about useless things? This is a battle for our lives!"

"Oh, come on, Lancelot!" Ritsuka shot back, gesturing dramatically. "You're fighting for a guy who can't even please a woman!"

With a furious yell, Lancelot charged forward again, sword raised. But Kama was ready; she stepped in front of Ritsuka and summoned a surge of energy, creating an illusory wall of flowers that bloomed in an instant, stopping Lancelot in his tracks.

"Enough!" Kama declared, her voice firm. "We have better things to do than squabble over something so petty. Let's focus on the real fight here!"

Sanson, still trapped, looked between the two with a mix of irritation and begrudging admiration. "I see you've got your own little band of misfits. But let's not forget the true nature of this battle! You think your distractions will save you?"

Ritsuka smirked, adrenaline pumping through him. "You're right. It won't save us. But if we can turn this ridiculous encounter into an opportunity…" He released his hold on the Love Bind, smirking at Sanson. "Let's see how you fare against our actual strategy."

"Strategy?" Sanson scoffed, finally able to stand. "You think you can outwit me? I've ended lives for centuries!"

"Yeah, and look where that got you," Ritsuka replied, gesturing to the still-stunned warriors. "Now, why don't you put your skills to the test against someone who isn't too busy with… personal issues?"

Before Sanson could retort, a low growl resonated from above. The wyverns circled, preparing for another assault. Ritsuka turned to his comrades, determination shining in his eyes. "We can use this moment. Let's fight together!"

Mash nodded, her spirit rekindled. "Right! We protect this town, and we stop them, together."

Marie and Kama exchanged a glance, a silent agreement passing between them. They positioned themselves, readying their weapons for the fight ahead.

"Let's show them what a real team looks like!" Kama shouted, her presence igniting a fierce determination among the group.

With renewed resolve, they advanced together, prepared to confront the looming threat and show Sanson that their bonds were stronger than any blade.

Sanson then spoke. "You know they is too awkward".

As he got on his Wyvern and so did Lancalot as they all left.

Sanson then looked at Marie as he was flying. "Unthle we meet again, and as for You Maire I hope to please especially in you death"

As he flyer away with Lancalot, as for Lancalot he is wondering what has happened to his life.

Marie them looked at at Sanson flying before she grabbed Ritsuka arm. "I will rather have you please me Handsome".

The wyverns soared into the sky, leaving a trail of dust behind as Sanson and Lancelot disappeared into the distance. Ritsuka watched them go, a mix of relief and confusion washing over him.

"Guess that's one way to get out of a fight," he muttered, shaking his head. The tension from moments before began to dissolve, leaving behind a bizarre memory of the encounter.

Marie's grip on Ritsuka's arm tightened, pulling his attention back to her. "I'd rather have you please me, handsome," she said, her voice sultry and teasing.

Ritsuka blinked, a light blush creeping onto his cheeks. "Uh, um…" he stammered, quickly reaching out to the Harem System in his mind. "System, activate!"

The familiar voice of the Harem System echoed in his thoughts. [Just a reminder, I am the Harem System!]

"Yeah, I know!" Ritsuka mentally replied, trying to regain his composure. "But I need a little help here. Can you, like, tone it down a bit? I'm not sure how to handle this… situation."

[Initiating Harem Integration Protocol. Prepare for emotional support and bonding enhancement.]

The air around him shimmered slightly as the system worked its magic. Ritsuka felt a warm sensation, calming his nerves and allowing him to focus on the moment.

Marie tilted her head, a playful glint in her eyes. "You're not embarrassed, are you? I've seen you handle far more intense situations than this."

"Yeah, but this is different!" Ritsuka blurted out, trying to explain. "You're… you're Marie! And I just—"

"Just what?" she pressed, leaning in closer. "You're thinking too much. Just enjoy the moment. We've been through a lot together, and I appreciate you. Isn't that enough?"

Ritsuka swallowed hard, her words sinking in. "I guess so, but…" He hesitated, unsure of how to express his feelings. "I want to be more than just a hero to you all. I want to be someone you can rely on, not just in battle but in everything."

Marie's expression softened. "And you are, Ritsuka. You don't have to prove anything to me. Just being here is enough."

Kama, watching the exchange, chimed in with a teasing tone. "See? You're already making progress. Just don't let the executioner get to you. It's all about confidence, darling!"

Ritsuka couldn't help but chuckle at the absurdity of it all. "Right, confidence. I'll just keep that in mind when dealing with a guy who collects heads for a living."

Mash, who had been silently observing, chimed in. "Ritsuka, remember that we're all here for you. No matter what challenges we face, we face them together."

With a newfound determination, Ritsuka nodded. "You're right. We'll protect this town and each other. And I'll figure out how to balance all of this."

Just then, a rustling sound interrupted their conversation. Ritsuka turned to see a few townsfolk cautiously approaching them, curiosity and fear mingling in their expressions.

"Are you all… heroes?" one of the villagers asked, hope glimmering in their eyes.

"Yes," Ritsuka replied, stepping forward. "We're here to help you. We'll make sure your town is safe from threats like those we just faced."

A cheer erupted among the villagers, and Ritsuka felt a swell of pride. He glanced back at Marie and Kama, determination set in his features. "Let's get to work."

As they began discussing strategies with the villagers, Ritsuka felt the weight of the previous night's events fade away, replaced by a sense of purpose. Whatever challenges lay ahead, he was ready to face them with his newfound allies by his side.

章節 77: Did you bring him

Sanson and Lancelot exchanged glances as they entered Jalter's castle, the air thick with tension. Jalter, adorned in her regal attire, stood before them, her expression unreadable.

"Did you do as ordered? Did you bring him—Ritsuka?" Jalter demanded, her voice sharp like the edge of a blade.

Sanson hesitated, the weight of failure heavy on his shoulders. "No, we failed," he admitted, his gaze dropping to the floor.

At that, Jalter's expression hardened. "You had three jobs: burn the town, bring the kids, and Ritsuka Fujimaru to me. And yet, you come back empty-handed?"

Sanson's heart raced as he noticed Jalter's eyes briefly flicker to hearts at the mention of Ritsuka's name. It was a small crack in her usually cold demeanor, but he knew better than to take it lightly. "Um, no, my lord," he replied carefully, attempting to gauge her mood.

Jalter's face darkened, her eyes narrowing. "Be grateful that the children in the House of Flames are still awake right now," she warned, her voice low and dangerous, "or else this would be a whole different story. I'd have to consider summoning a new Assassin and Berserker to replace you."

Lancelot shifted uncomfortably, his gaze flitting between Jalter and Sanson. "We encountered unexpected resistance," he interjected, trying to smooth over the tension. "Ritsuka has powerful allies. We couldn't just charge in without a plan."

Jalter's expression remained icy, but she considered Lancelot's words. "So you're saying it was Ritsuka's friends who stopped you? What are their capabilities?"

Sanson cleared his throat, regaining some composure. "They have a formidable presence, especially the one named Kama. We underestimated their resolve."

"Underestimated?" Jalter's voice rose, sharp and piercing. "You two have proven to be more of a liability than an asset. If you wish to continue serving me, you better not fail again. The consequences could be dire."

"Yes, my lord," Lancelot replied, keeping his head bowed. "We will devise a better strategy next time."

Jalter's demeanor softened slightly, but the spark of frustration lingered. "I need Ritsuka alive, and I need those children to fuel my plans. Do whatever it takes to ensure success. Otherwise, I won't hesitate to find more competent hands for the task."

"Understood," Sanson said, nodding vigorously. "We'll find another way to draw Ritsuka out. He won't escape us forever."

Jalter's lips curled into a slight smirk, her dark aura receding just a fraction. "Good. I expect results soon. Dismissed."

As they turned to leave, Lancelot murmured to Sanson, "We can't let her down again. We need to come up with a solid plan."

Sanson nodded, determination igniting within him. "We'll figure something out. But first, we need to gather more intel on Ritsuka and his allies. They won't catch us off guard next time."

With that, the two exited the castle, a renewed sense of urgency guiding their steps. They would not fail again—not when their lives depended on it.

Jalter sat regally on her throne, her fingers drumming impatiently against the armrest. With a sudden burst of energy, she stood up and turned her gaze to Gilles de Rais. "If you want something done, I guess you have to do it yourself," she declared, her tone laced with a dangerous edge.

Gilles, standing a few paces away, regarded her with a mixture of admiration and concern. "But Jean thinks of it; we have a few towns to raid and children to… adopt," he said, choosing his words carefully to avoid the term 'kidnapped.' "You can't just go out there like this."

He paused, internal conflict evident in his expression. What Gilles would never say out loud was how unnerved he felt by Jalter's newfound obsession with Ritsuka Fujimaru. Sure, they had shared a kiss—an act that had seemingly transformed her. But the effects of the Holy Grail had twisted her affections into something darker, giving rise to a vengeful, possessive version of the original Jeanne d'Arc.

He had wished for a stronger, colder incarnation to serve his ambitions, but the price had been steep. Now, Jalter's fixation on Ritsuka was consuming her, and it was terrifying. The once-noble heroine was slowly morphing into a figure that sent chills down his spine, leaving him wary of her next move.

Jalter's eyes sparkled with an unsettling blend of intensity and determination. "Ritsuka is not just any opponent," she said, almost to herself, as if savoring the thought. "He's the key to my victory, and he must be brought to heel."

Gilles felt a knot form in his stomach. "But my lady," he started cautiously, "what if your obsession clouds your judgment? The towns we raid need to be taken carefully. We can't afford mistakes. Not now."

"Do you doubt my capabilities?" Jalter shot back, her voice rising slightly, filled with an edge of anger. "I am the rightful ruler of this land! I will not be outdone by some… mere Master!"

Gilles hesitated, sensing the shift in her demeanor. "It's not about doubting you, Jalter. It's about ensuring our plans succeed. If we're reckless, it could lead to disaster—not just for us but for everything we've worked toward."

Jalter's expression softened slightly, the flames of her rage flickering as she considered his words. "You're right, Gilles. I cannot let my feelings for Ritsuka overshadow my objectives. But the moment I find an opening…"

She paused, her voice dripping with venom. "He will regret crossing me. I will make him understand what true despair feels like."

Gilles nodded slowly, a mixture of relief and lingering apprehension flooding through him. "Then let's devise a plan, my lady. We'll find Ritsuka and eliminate any threats while securing the towns. But we must remain strategic."

"Very well," Jalter agreed, a predatory glint returning to her eyes. "But remember, the moment I see him, all bets are off. I will have him—body and soul."

As they began to discuss their next move, Gilles couldn't shake the feeling that they were treading on dangerous ground. Jalter was no longer just a servant of the Holy Grail; she was becoming something far more dangerous—an embodiment of vengeance wrapped in obsession.

Sanson walked the dimly lit halls of the castle, his boots echoing against the cold stone floor. His thoughts were preoccupied with the strange obsession Jalter seemed to have developed for Ritsuka Fujimaru. It was a curiosity that gnawed at him, making him pause every so often as he turned corners and glanced down narrow corridors.

What is it about this Ritsuka guy that has Jalter so… smitten? he wondered. I've seen countless heroes and villains, but none have had this kind of effect on her.

The more he thought about it, the more perplexing it became. Jalter, the fierce and proud Avenger of Jeanne d'Arc, a woman who had once been the symbol of righteous fury, now seemed to have a singular focus: Ritsuka.

Sanson scoffed inwardly, wondering what the appeal was. The man was strong, yes—he'd seen him fight, and there was no denying his impressive skills. But he was surrounded by powerful women, each one more captivating than the last. Sanson recalled the battle with Marie, Kama, and the rest of Ritsuka's entourage—strong, commanding women, each with their own allure, each more than capable of holding their ground. Was that part of the attraction?

He grimaced as jealousy began to creep into his thoughts. Here I am, a legendary executioner, a man of power and conviction, yet I can't help but envy this... boy... surrounded by such power. How did he manage it?

Sanson shook his head as he continued walking. It doesn't matter, he thought. I have my own mission to attend to. But that Ritsuka… he's something else entirely. No ordinary man can garner such a following. There must be more to him than meets the eye.

The castle around him seemed colder the longer he thought about it. His own doubts, frustrations, and even jealousy about Ritsuka's luck began to build.

How did a mere man manage to get that kind of attention? Sanson wondered, more confused than ever. Is it his strength? His charisma? Or is it something more… hidden beneath the surface?

As he turned a corner, his pace slowed. The walls of the castle seemed to close in around him, echoing the tangled thoughts in his head. He couldn't shake the feeling that he had just witnessed the start of something much larger than any of them had anticipated—something that might shift the balance of power in ways none of them could predict.

A small smirk tugged at his lips. I suppose I'll find out soon enough. But, for now, I'll keep my eyes on him. There's something about Ritsuka Fujimaru that makes even me question my role in all of this.

Back with Ritsuka and the group, Ritsuka ones again feels the chill but ignores it and then kama looked at him, they had made sure using Morgan magic to basically put defensive spell's on town to protect, as once again they were campaigning in the night

Kama just looked at Ritsuka before looking at Morgan. "Hey Morgan put some magical safety spells on Ritsuka"

Ritsuka looked at Kama. "I don't think I need kama".

Medusa then spoke. "I think it is great idea".

Ritsuka glanced at Medusa, surprised by her agreement with Kama. He was about to protest, but then he noticed the determined expressions on both Medusa and Morgan's faces. It seemed they weren't taking "no" for an answer.

Morgan smirked slightly, crossing her arms. "Even a hero needs protection sometimes, Ritsuka. And you may not realize it, but having a few extra layers of defense could save you from unpleasant surprises."

Kama nodded in agreement, her eyes playful but serious. "Exactly, darling. You have no idea how many people out there want to get their hands on you—for various reasons." She shot a mischievous look at him, but Ritsuka could sense the genuine concern underlying her words.

Sighing, he gave in. "Alright, alright. I'll let you put a few spells on me. Just don't make it too obvious, okay?"

Morgan held out her hand, a faint blue glow emanating from her palm as she began to weave the protective spells. "I'll keep it subtle. But rest assured, these will be more than enough to shield you from most physical and magical attacks."

As the protective magic surrounded him, Ritsuka felt a gentle warmth settle over his body, almost like an invisible armor. He could sense the careful precision in Morgan's spells, the way each layer wrapped around him with purpose.

Kama watched intently, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "There. Now, we can rest a bit easier, knowing you're better protected."

Medusa nodded approvingly. "You can't afford to be reckless, Ritsuka. You may be strong, but we all worry about you."

Touched by their concern, Ritsuka gave them a soft smile. "Thank you. I didn't think you'd all go to such lengths for my safety."

Kama raised an eyebrow, folding her arms with a smirk. "Of course, we would. You're our idiot, after all."

Morgan chuckled softly. "Indeed. Now, with the town under protection and you properly shielded, let's try to get some rest. We have a long day ahead of us."

The group settled back around the campfire, the warmth and security of their bonds comforting each of them as the stars glittered overhead.

Mash looker at Morgan. "Morgan are you sure that the spells you but on the town is enough".

Morgan looked at her and spoke. "Yes, I may be a Beserker, but my Mage craft is noting to scop at, the spells I put on the town is to make sure who ever attacks there soul is being sent to oblivion, even do a lot my magic was drained, but still no one but top Caster can take that spell down, and Gills is no top tear Caster servent"

Jeane then looked at Ritsuka. "Are the same spells on Ritsuka".

Marie feairng for her life moved a few inches away as she was clinging to Ritsuka. "Nope not risking it'

Morgan smirked, giving Jeanne a reassuring glance. "Ritsuka's protections are similar, but tailored to be less... intense. I don't think he'd appreciate his soul being 'sent to oblivion' if something went wrong." She paused, then added, "But rest assured, he's well-protected. No one will lay a hand on him without facing severe consequences."

Mash nodded, seeming slightly relieved, though still cautious. "I trust you, Morgan. Just wanted to be sure we've covered all bases."

Ritsuka, noticing Marie edging closer to him, chuckled. "Marie, I don't think you're in any danger from these spells. Morgan has it all under control."

Marie let out a sigh of relief but kept close, gripping his arm. "Well, better safe than sorry! Besides, who knows what kinds of scary magic we're up against here."

Kama gave an amused smile, rolling her eyes. "Honestly, Marie, you act like Ritsuka is some fragile porcelain doll. But…" She looked at him warmly. "It's nice to know we're all on the same page about protecting him."

Ritsuka sighed, a bit overwhelmed by all the extra precautions. "Alright, alright! I get it, everyone. I appreciate all of you looking out for me, really."

Jeanne smiled softly. "Good. Because you're important to us, Ritsuka. We can't afford to lose you."

They settled into a comfortable silence around the fire, each member of the group feeling the weight of their responsibilities and the depth of their camaraderie.
