章節 33: Ablazen port
The bell had been recovered from the deep of the sea many, many years ago. It had been there even before these waters became known by the common folk when this pirate haven was an unknown fortress. Its toll was dark, phantasmagoric. It hadn't been used since the last assembly, ninety years ago, but the deep ring resounded in the whole port. It was a beacon, a calling in times when it was needed to rally all the cutthroats and murderers in the city for one simple cause. One common enemy.
Samantha Blood Claw, a ruthless captain, to many one of the biggest terrors of the sea, sat still on one of the improved seats surrounded by her most trustworthy mates, her eyes cold and calculating looked over her shoulder as she heard the other captain complaining.
"Those fuckers burned my ships to the ground!" Roared a fat man, he was one of the new big fish on these waters, he had no real strength, just gold, as far as she knew he was just a rich man playing pirate.
"They burned part of the bazaar too!"
"They have to pay up!"
The audience was loud, even so, she hadn't spoken yet. She had to return when departing because she saw the smoke at the port. She still remembered when those brats wanted to do business with her, she had allowed them to receive the cargo on the harbor for some constant flow of gold, now, the deal was over, it came back at her and bit her in the rear. It was a matter of time before the others turned their anger towards her.
'So what?' She thought and smiled.
"Is this funny to you?" Asked the fat man, his voice was calm but only because of the shock of seeing her smiling, then she proceeded to laugh, this made him even more furious, his face reddened because of the anger "Is any of this funny to you, little bitch!"
She put up her hands without answering. The smile never left her face, even her crew also started laughing. People started shouting, then someone said the magic words.
"You were the one who let them in!" Said a small fry who wanted to earn some points with one of the other captains "You were the one who lent them the storehouse!"
"Get out of this port you shameless whore!"
"Go die at the sea!"
They were so predictable, that Samantha knew that this would happen as soon as she found out what had happened at the docks. She stood up from her seat and the whole crowd of valiant pirates fell silent, some even backed away some steps, fear reflected in their faces.
"Yes!" She said "I will take the responsibility for this, you are right I'm leaving, I never liked the name of this stupid place anyway"
She turned her back and started walking away, her men following shortly after. The crowd that had grown silent looked dumbfounded, they didn't expect to vanish her just like that... when she wasn't in sight they began cheering, now they could deal with the masked bastards without any worry, the pig was sweating cold, when she stood up he thought he was dead, but even now that people congratulated him as the new chief of this place for being the one with the biggest crew he still felt uncomfortable.

"You stupid oaf!" Screamed the leader of The Hollow Brotherhood branch at this place.
Under him was the corpse of the guy who had kicked Raven, he had stirred up the problem, everything was going well, damn too well, but then a temperamental idiot had to kick a drunkard that was under the flag of Blood Claw. His eyes panicked while shouting orders to his comrades.
"Move everything! Now!" The leader ordered again.
"My lord, the sailors are busy taking out the fire, this should at least give us some ho...!" The girl who was trying to calm him down wasn't able to finish her phrase, she could see for some reason her body still standing then emptiness.
The female gang member head rolled through the ground.
"Move bastards! This supplies are more important than you!"
His name was long forgotten, people believed he died some time ago at the dungeon, but now he went by the alias of Darkscale, an ex-adventurer of the 4th level. And right now, the prospect of facing Blood Claw made him feel more uneasy than facing any boss monster that he had encountered during any of his dungeonering.

As Captain Blood Claw went on board of her vessel she walked calmly toward the helm of her vessel, the Blood Claw Ravager until now in this world there weren't a ship like that, a monstrosity of wood, carved by the most expert artisans.
"Set sail" She said with a wicked smile on her face, her wolf ears perking up, it had been a long time since she had felt this excited, it was incredible, many years looking for an excuse to do this and it fell into her hands as if it were divine intervention.
"Captain!" Said one of his trusted underlings "Are we just gonna leave?"
"Of course not" She answered closing her eyes to enjoy the salty breeze on her eyes.
"But...!"
"We already left the meeting I kept my word" Then she handed him the control of the ship "Take us into position, there is no better chance than this"

As Raven and Fuwa left the tavern, they had a very good sight of the city, since they were on an elevated position, the fire was still raging but seemed more controlled. A cart pulled by many horses passed speeding through the street, almost taking with them some drunkards that were roaming around... it had the same emblem as the boxes in the market.
"Hey they are escaping!" Shouted Raven wishing for the world to burn.
Some people started chasing after the guys who started the fire, but she could feel the hand of Fuwa again in her arm, for a moment Raven thought she would get dragged around again, but her hold was weak this time, which caught the attention of the cat even more, Fuwa was pointing towards the sea.
An enormous ship that looked similar to the ghostly ship that Raven had seen earlier that day was turning around and getting into the station, for a moment the city fell silent.

"Captain, all of our ships are sailing away with the loot as you commanded, shall we proceed?"
Blood Claw looked at the city like hypnotized, she had dreamed with this moment.
Then she nodded.

"Hey... you said you attracted trouble... now I believe you" Said Fuwa as Raven was starting to panic too.
There was no way a ship like that existed, soon she could see some compartments opening on the side of the ship... she couldn't count from that distance but they were at least over 40.
"Hey... time to run?"
"Let's get the hell out of here!" Screamed Raven
"Is that thing a Man O War!?" Said Fuwa.
"A what!?" Asked Raven confused.
"Gonna explain later just run!"

"They were crying over a little fire?" Said the Captain "Let's give them a proper reason to do so, you can have the city"
Her name was Samantha, everybody knew her as Blood Claw, and she was the reason this port was feared and didn't get taken by any country after all it was a fine spot for trade and a way to control all the seas around. And she hated this place. She never considered herself a big shot, but she was a beastman of the wolf tribe, level 5. She had never set foot in the dungeon, so, she was probably one of the most bloodthirsty persons this world had ever seen.
"Let bygones be bygones"
It didn't matter if those bastards of the Brotherhood had stabbed her in the back, and she knew just killing the culprits wouldn't be enough cause they would try to buy her again with more gold and send another goon to keep the operation going, so, the solution was simple, fuck them more than they had her, and destroy the whole port just so they don't get what they wanted.
