"You see... my story is full of sadness and betrayal" He began, for Raven it sounded like a shitty backstory time.
"I see. Please do your best" she interrupted him with a fake smile and some pats on the shoulder.
"But I haven't said anything yet!" He screamed.
"Let me guess, you got summoned here against your will, your power sucked, and got send to this hell hole to die" Raven stated with a very plain tone of voice "Maybe they tricked you to come here?" She sighed "Look, my old boss once told me, life is shit then you die, but it's up to you what you do with it, if someone betrayed you put some effort into it and take revenge, but don't carry others like if we care, I barely know you so I don't care"

Life was tough. Raven herself had a pretty hard life, but she wasn't going around telling people and crying about it. She had to do her best with the cards she had, and she wasn't interested at all in becoming buddy buddies with useless trash. Tho she wasn't heartless. Her head started hurting, she didn't liked to help strangers out of good content, but he reminded her someone from her time at the orphanage.
"Look, let's talk business" She finally said while rubbing her head, after all, if Wormtongue recommended him, he should had something good "I'm gonna give you one chance, just one chance to prove you are not useless" She raised one finger to make her point clear "Show me your stats first"
Raven wasn't a pro adventurer or something like that, actually, she sucked for other parties too, so she had to crawl like a worm and do what she can with the resources she had, few would trust in her with her criminal background, people aint stupid enough to blindly trust someone like her, and she had a low level and a bad class. Luckily for her, she could see his stats if he allowed her, so there was little to be able to hide".

"Ayoooo what the hell" She said out loud reading his stats, life was so unfair, and why his luck and intellect were so bad, It was the first time in her entire life she saw a double 1 in the stats of someone "What is Dream Beacon?" She asked looking at him.
"It says it's an ability to enter a different plane," He says while reading the description "Brings the user and companions to the dream escape, if the user dies everyone inside gets stuck in there".
For some reason, it sounds interesting, but she understood why he was dropped, it sounded like a honey trap.
"I'm amazing" He said doing some weird poses "I'm the holder of a unique skill"
"The only amazing fact is that you don't have any other single skill" She said very annoyed.
"But I can get more! They told me summoned heroes can acquire new skills easily!"
She looked at him and felt annoyed, this guy was around her age but acted like a small kid, for some reason he also looked like he wasn't used to being outdoors, and looked like if he hadn't worked a single day of his entire life. For sure he could get new skills, anyone can do it, but there was a big problem, she wasn't strong enough to take care of him and save her hide in the process.
"Anyone can get skills if they train hard or using books from the dungeon, but can you even survive?"
He has a sword with him, but he doesn't have any sword skill, so he probably has never used it, at all.
"Okay this is the deal" Raven crossed her arms and looked at him "You have this day to prove your worth, I don't feel like saving anyone, so you have to take care of yourself" And she put a hand in his pocket and took his money pouch wawing it in front of his face "And Im taking this as a fee, do a good job and I will return it, otherwise is mine for the lost time".
"Let's do this!" He said happily, she couldn't understand how he thought, or even if he was thinking at all, for her he was taking this as some kind of game.
"There is no turning back then," She said with a mischievous smile on her face "Today we will challenge the first floor of the dungeon, if you believe in some god better start praying now".
Somehow it felt as if she had scammed him, but he sucked, so she called it fair. She wasn't sure of this, but if he kicked the bucked his money was in good hands. Well if she didn't die as well. Saying she wasn't afraid would be a lie, but if you get yourself beaten by fear then you won't get to anywhere, both of them began walking towards the dungeon gate.
"So what do you like to do?" He said walking behind her, trying to put some talk between them.
"Oh? I like to rob people" She said looking at him with an evil glint on her eyes.
This may be a fun ride.
"Is that some type of game? For what consol?"
Or maybe not.
