I sat at my desk, trying to focus, but my mind kept drifting back to the weekend. It was a relief that Armand was back in a better mood, his usual intensity softened now that things were starting to fall back into place. I could hear the hum of activity coming from the technical team down the hall—Kaveesha and Max were deep in discussion, fixing the chaos Maurice had left behind. Phyllis had joined them, making sure Caleb had everything he needed. Honestly, I had to hand it to Caleb. The second he realized what Maurice was up to, he blocked him without hesitation. Smart move. I would not have expected anything less from him.

I glanced at the time and decided it was about time Armand had something to eat. With everything going on, he had not even thought about it. I grabbed my phone and quickly ordered coffee and a light snack to be sent to his office. He had been working non-stop, and as much as I admired his focus, I could not help but worry about him.
