Jared flopped onto the sofa in the sitting room and Cora repeated the maneuver right beside him. He wrapped an arm around her and pulled her into his side. She sniffed at him frowning.

"Right?! I feel like I need to wash the low-life rapist off of me, but in a minute. I am too dizzy right now to make it upstairs." Jared exclaimed.

"I was just noticing that I can smell the new blood over your scent. I never noticed that with the bagged blood before." Cora explained.

"The gameyness of the prey. It fades with the high." Antione laughed and Margo smiled.

"Humans talk about wild meat being gamey." Margo told Cora.

"Ahh… makes sense and is kind of funny in this context." Cora snickered.

Antione pointed at Cora. "See, she gets it. I knew I liked her." Margo shook her head at her friend.

"I don't want to be rapist level gamey. I'm going to shower." Jared said trying to rise.

"Do you want my help?" Cora asked trying to rise.
