章節 94: Chapter 94: Elemental King

[Third Person's PoV]

"So, did you use Techno Vision to create the Quantum Matrix?" Tony asked as he examined the suits, his gaze sharp with curiosity.

Melissa hesitated for a moment, then nodded with a sheepish smile. "Yeah, I did. Honestly, I couldn't have done it without it. Was that…a bad call?"

Tony scoffed, shaking his head. "Bad? You'd have been an idiot *not* to use it."

Melissa relaxed slightly, but Tony was already shifting gears. "Friday, what time is it?"

"It's 4 A.M., boss," Friday replied.

Tony rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Mark 42's the one I really want to dive into, but that's gonna take too much time right now. Guess I'll focus on Mark 41—the Elemental King suit. I should be able to finish it in a few hours, just in time before we need to head out for our internship…"

"Wait, we're not going back to bed?" Melissa asked, her brow furrowing as she looked at Tony.

Tony sighed, his tone carrying a hint of irritation. "I can't, since *someone* decided to wake me up. Might as well make use of the time."

Melissa winced, looking at him apologetically. "Sorry for waking you…"

Tony rolled his eyes but leaned in to kiss the side of her head. "Go get some sleep. You've been up all night—you need the rest. I'll wake you when it's time to leave."

"Yeah, I am pretty tired…" Melissa muttered. She sighed and gave him a quick peck on the lips before heading off to bed.

Once she was gone, Tony got to work, his focus sharpening. "Friday, I need you to gather all the research on neuroscience, especially anything related to emotions. And while you're at it, compile all the data we've gathered from studying Toru's quirk and any holographic tech we've come across. I want it all in one file for later."

Tony smirked to himself. "Let's call it… the Lantern Project."

"As you wish, boss," Friday confirmed. Then she asked, "And what would you like me to bring up now?"

"Bring out the file on the Energy Converter. I want to see if there's a way to push this thing to its full potential," Tony said, settling into his seat. Instantly, a holographic file of the Energy Converter materialized before him, detailed schematics floating in midair.

Tony leaned forward, fingers steepled as he scrutinized the hologram. 'I based this on everything I learned from Momo's quirk—how she taps into her energy reserves to create matter. Instead of creating things, I adapted the principle to convert energy directly into elements. It's brilliant, but without a deep understanding of chemistry, it's practically useless. But in the hands of someone as genius as I am…well, I fear for my enemies,' Tony thought with a smirk.

But he wasn't content. Ideas were already racing through his mind for improvements. Grabbing the Energy Converter from his workbench, Tony donned his Techno Vision, his body more accustomed to the devices now.

"Alright, Friday, let's start with modular element creation. Why limit ourselves to single elements when we could create specific compounds or alloys on the fly? Imagine synthesizing vibranium-titanium alloys in a heartbeat, or something even more exotic, like a spontaneously formed explosive compound. That's not just versatility—it's game-changing."

He paused, eyes narrowing as he continued to scan the device. "And let's optimize energy efficiency while we're at it. It's good now, but it could be better. Incorporate principles from the Stark reactor—minimal waste, maximum output. I want this thing running longer and hotter without burning through resources."

Tony's hands moved rapidly across the holographic display from his Techno Vision, making adjustments. "Elemental customization. If we're making elements, let's tweak the isotopic composition. Stable isotopes for construction? Check. Radioactive ones for offensive maneuvers? Double-check. Give me the ability to decide the exact properties of the elements we're producing. This thing will be like having a chemistry lab in your pocket."

He tapped a section of the schematic, bringing up more details. "Advanced targeting systems. Let's not just create elements—let's deploy them with precision. Whether it's dispersing gases in a controlled area, forming instant barriers, or generating weapons on the fly—I want pinpoint accuracy. We're talking smart deployment, adaptive responses based on the situation."

Finally, Tony focused on the power core of the Converter. "Energy storage. Instead of just using energy, let's have this thing store unused energy in a specialized cell. If I don't need to create an element immediately, I want that energy banked, ready when I do. Or better yet, share that energy with other systems. This thing could power a small city if we do it right."

As Tony completed the upgrades, the Converter hummed with newfound energy in his Techno Vision. "Now *that's* more like it," he said, grinning with satisfaction. "Friday, initiate the integration sequence. Let's see just how powerful we can make this."

"It shall be done," Friday responded. The nanobots in Tony's lab began to stir, moving around and assisting with the construction of the upgraded Converter.

The nanobots presented the finished Converter: a round, glowing sphere with intricate designs and patterns embedded within it. It was far from an ordinary glowing ball.

"Now let's integrate it into a new suit. The nanotech will support the transformation and adapt it to fully utilize the Converter," Tony muttered as he began working with the nanotech.

When he finished, Tony stood before a suit of emerald and silver, which he instantly adapted to.

He moved to his testing ground, extending his hand. His repulsor dust swirled, forming a circle that condensed into a ball and grew larger. When Tony fired it, a boulder of earth flew from his hand, crushing the targets in front of him. In his other hand, he generated a powerful blast of wind. With the new suit, Tony could manipulate practically any element by utilizing the correct periodic formulas.

As he marveled at the suit's capabilities, a grin spread across his face. "Alright, let's push this a bit further," he said to himself.

"Friday, initiate the elemental sequence. Let's see how quickly I can cycle through different elements."

"It shall be done," Friday responded crisply.

Tony extended his right hand, and within seconds, the repulsor energy transformed into a torrent of water, surging forward and carving a path through the rocky terrain. He snapped his fingers, and the water instantly turned to ice, freezing the ground solid.

"Not bad. Let's crank it up," Tony muttered, raising both hands. The ice shattered and melted, and as the water evaporated, intense heat radiated from his palms. Flames burst forth, swirling into a fiery vortex that engulfed the remaining targets.

The suit adapted seamlessly. Tony focused, and the silver lines on his suit began to glow as the Converter processed new commands. In a flash, energy condensed into a sphere of crackling electricity, which he hurled into the sky. The sphere exploded into a web of lightning that arced across the testing ground, striking targets in rapid succession.

For the final test, Tony reached out with his right hand, focusing on a metallic structure in the distance. The suit hummed as it synchronized with his command. The structure disassembled into a cloud of floating metal fragments, which Tony manipulated with precision. He reassembled them into complex shapes before collapsing them back into a solid block.

"Well, that's a wrap," Tony said, retracting the nanobots and deactivating the Converter. "The suit handles the elemental shifts smoothly, and the integration with the Converter is flawless."

"Indeed, Sir," Friday confirmed. "All tests have been completed successfully. The potential applications are vast."

Tony smiled, already brainstorming new uses for the suit in the field. He then asked, "Alright, Friday, how much time has passed since I started working on this?"

"Two hours have passed since you initially requested the time," Friday replied.

"I see… I still have about an hour of free time. Friday, have you received the information on the Lantern Project yet?"

"It has already been prepared and is ready for your review. Shall I bring it forth?" Friday asked.

"Yeah, I'll use the hour I have left to study it before I wake up Melissa," Tony said as he stepped out of his armor, which hovered slightly in place.
