Fortunately, the meteor shower event happened near midnight. A lot of people were already in their homes; that's why they could still pass through the road by avoiding all the cars that were just stuck on the road.

Luciel could see some zombies trapped inside the cars they passed through. They were those who became zombies while they were still in the car.

He could also see a lot of open cars, which were likely opened by those who woke up and ran. There were also a lot of zombies wandering around, which should be from the opened cars and from the living communities nearby.

Fortunately, the cars of Treyton were durable enough to just go through the zombies that were in front of them.

They were driving very fast so as not to be surrounded by zombies and, of course, to reach their destination faster.
