Jacquelyn's eyes fluttered open, then she closed them, still tired from the previous night's encounter and consummation. Her throbbing core served as a reminder of the paradise Kaelhad takenher tothe previous night. She moaned and turned to the side, feeling Kael's body, and snuggled in, smiling. "Husband," she called, but when she didn't hear a response, Jacquelyn raised her face and saw Kael staring at the ceiling blankly.
She followed his eyes, but there was nothing worthwhile in the ceiling. "Kael...?" she called him again.
Kael turned his face and smiled. "Do you ever notice my smile, little wife? And if so, what do you think of it?"
Jacquelyn was speechless with the sudden question. "Ehm...your smile...well, at first, I was scared of it because it looks evil...like you have a trick under your sleeve, but then I got used to it." She answered truthfully.
