Morning in Morville Castle started out different. The clouds remained dull with no trace of the morning sun, the usual happy laughter and giggling from inside the dining room was replaced with a disturbing silence. The clattering of plates and spoons were gone, giving room for the harsh wind that disturbed the leaves and birds.
"It looks like it's going to rain," Herschel muttered, closing the door that led to the kitchen. He walked into the dining, his eyes roaming the around the room.
If anyone walks into the Castle and was told that people live here, they would have a hard time believing it. The whole Castle was eeriely cold like something bad had happened. The man took a quick glance at the bowl of water he was holding and sighed. He couldn't help but blame himself, maybe if only he hadn't betrayed Kael.
"Blaming yourself won't solve anything," Iva interrupted his thoughts.
