The room became silent with all eyes on Chaos, who now dropped his spoon slowly onto the plate. "Not my blood," he said.
Iva grinned, pulling her hair back as she tied it with a band. "Let's see, where should I take from?" She rubbed her tongue over her fangs.
Jacquelyn bit her lip, her eyes shifting from Iva to the young boy. Though part of her thought he deserved it, she was still panicking. The idea of someone's fangs piercing her skin made Jacquelyn shudder.
"A child is here!" Griselda said, covering the girl's eyes with her hand. "Take that outside, both of you."
Chaos opened his mouth, then closed it again. "Outside? She might kill me! Look at her eyes!"
Iva raised her brows up and down with a threatening expression. "You bet."
