Today is the weekend and I brought Snow to the shopping mall. I want to spend the weekend with my daughter and also to unwind. I’ve been stressed out because of work. And of course, Caleb’s confession has been lingering in my mind since the day he confessed. I was unable to answer him that day because I was too shocked to react. He just left after he received an emergency call but he made it sure to me that he’ll come back and talk to me again. He wants to court me and he confessed in front of Pierce.

“Daddy, look!”

My attention was stolen by the family eating on the other table. The little girl was smiling so wide at her father.

Bothered, I looked at Snow and caught her smiling while watching the father, mother and daughter. They’re complete. Something I’ve been wanting to give my own child but I’m too scared to take the risk.

I caressed Snow’s arm to get her attention. I smiled at her and motioned for her food. Instead of eating, she stared at me with her doe eyes.
