Ba'dqeel walked into the throne room, past the guards lining both sides of the red carpet, their swords hanging at the waist. They didn't seem to be paying attention to him, but he knew better. They were studying every move he made, every breath he took, searching for the slightest hint of a threat.
"Brother!" smiled the Rein from his throne. The chair was enormous and fitting, considering just how big the Rein was. He looked comfortable in the bright red metal, his silver skin a striking contrast to the blood red color.
The Priest was standing just behind his brother's right hand, showing his position of prominence in a room devoid of everyone but the three of them and the guard.
"You are dismissed," grunted the Rein as if he just realized that there were more than 20 males inside the chamber, armed to their teeth. "My brother would never harm me, would you, Ba'dqeel?"
