AMELIA’S P.O.V
Kaden stared at me like I had grown two heads. “I have never heard that term in my life. Is it something I should know?”
I let out a frustrated growl as I buried my face into my hands. Talking to him was a stupid idea, I should have known he wouldn’t know. I was told that they were extinct now I had opened a can of worms that I desperately needed to close before he started asking too many questions. I could feel his eyes on me as I thought up ways to momentarily make the last few seconds go away.
“Okay,” I ended up saying finally as I shrugged. “We should go in and order.”
