"Hmm, even diplomats aren't immune to that type of thing." He frowned. "Galos, I knew it would do that type of thing."

Chester looked unhappy when he agreed. "I've gone off the continent," he finally told Clarence, as if that was something almost unheard of. While that was the case in the present era, Clarence remembered that going off the continent was a breeze. He didn't bother to tell Chester that. It would lead to a drawn-out conversation they didn't have time for.

Ah, that reminded him; Clarence shook his head with a sigh. They were running out of time.
