"Big Bull, you're not hurt, are you?" XueXue could see clearly from the tree that the ground was covered in blood. After a painful struggle, the wolf lay motionless on the ground. Seeing this, she jumped down, walked over to Big Bull, and asked with concern.

"I'm fine, all the blood on the ground is from the wolf."

Big Bull didn't even seem to be out of breath as he turned back, grinned at XueXue, and bent over to pick some weeds off the ground to clean the blood off his sickle.

"How should we deal with this wolf?" XueXue asked as she kicked the motionless dead wolf with her foot.

"We need to dig a hole quickly and bury it deep, or else attracting the Wolves Pack would be bad news."

"Yes! That's right!" XueXue nodded in agreement, then said with lingering fear, "It's so strange. Why would there be wolves on the outskirts of the mountain? Luckily they ran into us; if it had been other villagers, they surely wouldn't have survived."
