章節 113: Chapter 113: Furies

For the second time that day, Alex activated his domain, but with the limitless supply of energy supporting him, he felt no fatigue. His condition remained at peak levels. Especially now that the Platinum Wings of the Unknown had upgraded, giving him a 100% increase in power, allowing his domain's range to expand even further, now encompassing the entire planet of Apokolips.

He smiled faintly, then casually flicked his finger forward. Space slashes from his Infinity instantly covered all the Parademons. In a single moment, Parademons across the entire planet were sliced to death by an infinite number of space slashes!

Exerting his power on such a vast number of Parademons at once was a considerable burden for Alex, so he took a moment to adjust his breathing, preparing to launch another attack. But suddenly, the surrounding space began to tremble. Alex sensed a special energy pulse emanating from the heart of the city, disrupting the space around him and neutralizing his Unlimited Void.

Apokolips' energy core had shut down its energy supply to other areas, focusing all its power on releasing a strange energy surge that barely managed to neutralize Alex's domain.

Apokolips was the second most technologically advanced planet in the universe, second only to New Genesis. Its energy core was incredibly powerful, comparable to the combined power of three Mother Boxes.

However, despite its immense energy reserves, its energy level was far below Alex's. Thus, it was still no match for him.

Inside one of the laboratories in the core palace of Apokolips, Desaad, looking anxious, issued urgent commands:

"Quickly, stop him from breaking through the energy disruption system! If he adapts to the interference and releases the power he used earlier, Apokolips will be destroyed in no time!"

As Darkseid's chief scientific advisor, Desaad had achieved countless accomplishments throughout his life. He managed many of Apokolips' high-tech systems and created the Parademon army that instilled fear throughout the universe.

In the long years of conquest, he had always been the aggressor, the one inflicting pain. But today, the tables had turned, and he was the victim.

A single human from Earth had used some sort of teleportation technique to arrive on Apokolips. Initially, Desaad thought little of it, assuming the Earthling was just courting death. But when this human single-handedly deployed an energy field that covered the entire planet, Desaad finally felt fear deep in his soul!

In an instant, countless Parademons were slaughtered by unknown space slashes, leaving none behind!

If not for his quick response in using the city's defense systems to counteract the energy field and neutralize it, Apokolips could have been destroyed by that Earthling!

Just the thought of it made his body tremble uncontrollably. What kind of being was this? Could he truly be from Earth?

Desaad shouted at the top of his lungs to those around him:

"Dr. Bedlam, why haven't you been able to control that Earthling's mind?"

"I... I don't know…" Dr. Bedlam stammered, his face pale. He had been trying with all his might to control the Earthling's mind, but to his despair, he couldn't even sense the Earthling's consciousness!

Dr. Bedlam was one of the most powerful telepaths in the universe, capable of controlling the minds of entire planets' populations. But against this Earthling, his abilities seemed completely ineffective—he couldn't even detect his presence.

If he hadn't been able to sense the minds of the surrounding laboratory staff, he would have thought his powers had failed entirely.

"I can't… I can't sense his will at all, let alone control him…" Dr. Bedlam stammered.

"What?" Desaad was in disbelief. Could that Earthling truly be this powerful, even mentally?

Even Darkseid himself was vulnerable to Dr. Bedlam's abilities!

Things were even worse than he had imagined, but Desaad forced himself to stay calm. Using the communicator, he relayed another order:

"Granny Goodness, deploy the Furies immediately! They must stop him. I've already charged the energy cannons. You just need to buy me one minute, and I can use them to kill that damn Earthling!"

As the second most advanced planet in the universe, Apokolips' energy cannons each had the firepower of a planet-destroying weapon. If multiple cannons' energies were combined and directed at the Earthling, he would surely be incinerated by the blast.

Granny Goodness received the message and immediately replied:

"The Furies are already en route. They should be there soon…"

At the same time, Alex sensed several figures rushing toward him.

When he got a good look at them, he instantly recognized them as the infamous Furies!

The Furies were loyal to Darkseid, trained by Granny Goodness, and they were among the elite forces of Apokolips. Each one possessed strength on par with Earth's gods.

It seemed that Alex's earlier actions had truly frightened the higher-ups of Apokolips, prompting them to send their strongest warriors to deal with him.

But they were naive. Did they really think the Furies could stop him?

As the Furies attacked, Alex smiled and, in an instant, appeared before a woman in green armor.

The members of the Furies were all fanatically loyal to Darkseid, but they were also genetically enhanced to be extraordinarily beautiful, each one a dangerously alluring warrior.

But Alex wasn't the type to be swayed by beauty—he had no qualms about killing them.

Before the green-armored woman could react, Alex pressed a red-and-white singularity against her face.

Hit by the full force of a supernova-level attack, not even a god could survive. Her beautiful features were instantly obliterated as her head exploded, the divine blood staining Apokolips' crimson sky, tearing a hole in the seemingly eternal reign of Darkseid.

The leader of the Furies, Aurelie, was dead.

The other Furies didn't mourn her death at all. Instead, they became even more excited. Each of them harbored the ambition to be the leader, and with Koryl dead, the position was now open for them to claim.

Lashina, dressed in black and wielding a whip, lashed out at Alex. Her whip was made of a special material that could continually amplify its kinetic energy, allowing its tip to reach hundreds of times the speed of sound!

She had killed many gods with her whip, and now she intended to use it to pave her way to becoming the leader of the Furies.

But just as her whip was about to strike Alex, her smile froze. She watched in disbelief as Alex effortlessly caught the whip with his bare hand. The attack, which could have easily wounded a god, had no effect on him.

In the next instant, Alex appeared above her, driving his knee into her chest. With a sickening crunch, Lashina's body was crushed into an unrecognizable mass of flesh.

Lashina was dead.

Seeing this, the remaining Furies became more cautious but showed no fear. Their years of brainwashing made them willing to die for Darkseid at any moment.

Harriet and Gilotina attacked Alex simultaneously, one using razor-sharp claws capable of tearing through anything, the other wielding two swords that could cut through any material.

As Alex was finishing off Lashina, they had already struck him with their weapons.

They smiled in triumph, believing that their weapons, which could pierce anything, had surely pierced Alex's body. But to their shock, the weapons hadn't even torn through his clothes!

The kinetic energy of their weapons had been absorbed before they even touched him.

Of course, even without using energy absorption, Alex could have used Vector Manipulation to deflect the attacks. And even if he had allowed them to strike, their supposedly invincible weapons would have been unable to pierce his steel-like body.

Perhaps his clothes would have been slightly damaged, but the nanite symbiote would have immediately repaired them.

Alex blasted both women away with a wave of force and instinctively touched his side and crotch. Though they hadn't hurt him, he still felt a phantom ache from their attacks.

"I know you envy Catwoman and the others. After all, Darkseid's too weak. But going after my 'precious' is where you went wrong. If you hurt me, how will Catwoman and the others cope?"

Seeing that the remaining Furies were still glaring at him with stern expressions, showing no remorse and not even bothering to apologize, Alex was annoyed. Fine, it was time to finish them off.

In an instant, a purple imaginary sphere formed in his hand, transforming into a long, delicate sword. With a swift motion, he extended the blade, slicing through all the remaining Furies in a single stroke.

"Ahh!"

Unlike mortals, the Furies reacted to Alex's attack, but his strike was too fast for them to avoid. All they could do was wait for death.

Several Furies had their heads split in two, losing consciousness instantly. Only Gilotina, dressed in white, had her head severed cleanly from her body, leaving her mind still active.

Alex grabbed her severed head, holding it aloft as blood poured from her neck. Her headless body squirmed, trying to regenerate itself.

If left unchecked, and with the help of others, Gilotina might have been able to regenerate. But she wouldn't get the chance.

Ignoring her insults, Alex tightened his grip. Black-and-red lightning crackled through his hand, and Gilotina's head disintegrated into nothingness.

As the blood around him evaporated, Alex looked off into the distance. The giants had been destroyed, and so had the elite forces. Now, it was time to deal with the little bosses.

At that moment, a massive energy cannon at the heart of the city began to glow with a blinding light. It had finished charging, and the next moment, a colossal energy beam, tens of meters wide, shot toward Alex.

Desaad, watching from the laboratory, stared intensely at the screen, praying that the beam would kill Alex or, at the very least, severely injure him. If not, he was out of options...

When the dust cleared, the image on the monitor froze everyone in stunned silence.

Alex was standing there, his outstretched hand effortlessly blocking the beam.

No, he wasn't just blocking it—he was absorbing the energy completely.

章節 114: Chapter 114: Darkseid

[Template Fusion: 75%]

In an instant, Alex absorbed the energy beam that could pierce through planets without feeling any sense of swelling or overload. With all the amplifications, he was no longer the weakling who would reach his limit after absorbing the energy of a single nuclear bomb.

After effortlessly blocking the planetary destruction cannon, Alex warped the space around him, connecting it to a distant area and disappearing from his original spot. He reappeared in front of an elderly woman with a twisted expression.

By her appearance alone, Alex recognized her immediately. Among the high-ranking members of Apokolips, there was only one old woman who held such authority—Granny Goodness.

Despite her name, Granny Goodness was anything but kind. She was the commander of Apokolips' special forces, including the Furies she had trained personally.

Realizing Alex had appeared out of nowhere, Granny Goodness panicked and fired her energy weapon at him, but if even a planet-destroying cannon couldn't harm Alex, what hope did a mere energy weapon have?

Alex barely spared Granny Goodness a glance. With a casual wave of his hand, a powerful repulsion force crushed her, splattering her bones and flesh against the walls before they slowly oozed down.

Granny Goodness, commander of Apokolips' special forces, was dead!

Alex then made his way toward the core area—the heart of the city's defense system. Once it was destroyed, his domain would no longer be disrupted, and he could fully activate his field to envelop the entire planet and end the battle quickly.

But he didn't teleport this time. Instead, he walked leisurely, intending to savor the journey, knowing the outcome was already decided.

Several figures rushed toward him, trying to stop him from reaching the core. Each one of these beings was powerful enough to instill fear across the universe: Kanto, the master assassin and greatest fighter, the green titan wielding a blazing staff, and Darkseid's tactician, Verman Vundabar, among others—all attacking Alex together.

Any one of them could destroy a planet with ease, yet now, they showed no sign of relaxation as they combined forces. They were up against the most powerful enemy they had ever faced, a monster capable of destroying planets in seconds if not stopped.

They launched their combined assault—fists breaking the sound barrier dozens of times over, searing energy beams, and sharp blades aimed at Alex from every angle—but their attacks stopped dead in the air fifty meters away from him.

"What kind of power is this?" Kanto could feel the invisible barrier blocking their combined attack. His hands trembled violently from the force he exerted.

He had killed countless powerful beings with his dagger, even some capable of fighting him for extended periods, but never had he encountered a situation where he couldn't even approach his enemy!

And it wasn't just him. This was the combined assault of multiple high-level entities, yet their attack had been effortlessly neutralized.

Realizing that the enemy before them was far beyond anything they had ever faced, Kanto adjusted his grip, ensuring the sweat from his fingers wouldn't interfere with his strikes. He steadied himself and shouted, "Everyone, go all out, or we'll die!"

They all nodded in grim agreement, fully aware of the severity of the situation. They unleashed their full power, relentlessly attacking Alex.

But no matter how hard they tried, their attacks remained useless.

Though Alex was physically smaller than any of them, he stood like a towering mountain, casting a suffocating shadow over them, making it difficult to even breathe.

With a smile, Alex raised his hand and mimicked the gesture of drawing a bow.

Around him, vectors responded to his will, converging rapidly to form a vector axis. The immense power fused together, twisting the surrounding space and growing even stronger—ten times stronger than its initial state.

As the vector axis formed, alarms blared from the lab far away:

"Warning, warning, a massive energy source has been detected. Evacuate immediately!"

"Warning, warning, a massive energy source has been detected. Evacuate immediately!"

Desaad's face twisted in fear. Through the surveillance system, he saw the energy arrow forming, aimed directly at his laboratory, directly at the city's defense core!

He knew what that Earthling intended—he wanted to destroy the city's defenses and re-activate that powerful ability that could cover all of Apokolips.

Desaad knew he had to stop this attack, but he had no confidence he could.

According to the energy detection systems, the one-meter-long energy arrow contained energy tens of times greater than the planetary destruction cannon!

Despite knowing he couldn't possibly block the attack, Desaad didn't flee. Instead, he frantically typed codes into the system, trying to compress the city's defense shields to block the incoming attack.

If he ran now, even if he survived the energy arrow, Darkseid would kill him, and his methods would be far crueler than anything the Earthling could do.

Desaad shuddered at the thought and kept adjusting the parameters of the city's defenses.

Meanwhile, Alex paid no mind to the leaders of Apokolips who attacked him from fifty meters away. He focused on manipulating the fully-formed vector axis.

He noticed the shrinking defense barrier in the distance but wasn't concerned.

The vector axis' attack didn't operate like traditional energy or physical strikes. While the vector axis appeared to be only a meter long, its influence stretched infinitely far.

Anything in the path of the vector axis would have its vectors manipulated and absorbed into the axis, amplifying its power. Even anything attempting to block it would suffer the same fate!

And because Alex could control scalar quantities as well, the power of all the vectors absorbed by the axis would increase tenfold!

That was the maximum amplification of his level-4 vector manipulation!

When the vector axis was fully ready, Alex released it. The infinite vectors twisted together, forming an arrow that shot forward!

No, calling it an arrow was inaccurate. As it traveled, it grew into a colossal spear, hundreds of meters long!

Distance was irrelevant to the vector axis. Even Alex's Six Eyes couldn't track its path. Everything in its way was obliterated as the vector spear reached the laboratory in an instant.

Desaad and Doctor Bedlam had no time to react. The spear pierced through the barrier and their bodies, absorbing the energy of their resistance and amplifying its own power tenfold.

When it was over, the city's defense core was gone, and Alex could once again activate his Unlimited Void.

The leaders of Apokolips stood in stunned silence, staring at the kilometers-long chasm that now split the city in two. They had no idea what had just happened.

To them, Alex had merely opened his hand, a bright light flashed, and now everything had changed.

The city's defense system had vanished, and the entire city, including the area where Darkseid resided, had been reduced to ruins.

No, Darkseid!

They realized the terrifying possibility: had Darkseid himself been killed in the attack?

Rage overtook them, and they charged at Alex, consumed by madness.

Alex smiled calmly and activated his domain once more—Domain Expansion: Unlimited Void!

The entirety of Apokolips was pulled into the Domain. With a mere thought, the bodies of Apokolips' leaders were torn apart, their remains scattered to the winds as dust!

With that, all the leaders of Apokolips were dead.

But Alex wasn't finished. His goal was to annihilate the entire planet.

Just as he was about to act, a figure shot toward him at incredible speed, wrapped in the overwhelming power of the Omega Beams, isolating them from the Unlimited Void.

It was Darkseid—he had survived the vector spear!

Darkseid raced toward Alex, veins bulging in his fury as he roared:

"STOP!"

Despite Darkseid's desperate shout, Alex smiled indifferently and manipulated the vectors across Apokolips.

*Boom!*

Before Darkseid's disbelieving eyes, the entire planet's vectors and scalars shifted chaotically, tearing apart the gravitational field. Apokolips shattered like a fragile glass orb, fragments scattering everywhere!

But Alex didn't stop. Endless spatial slashes ravaged the planet, obliterating the broken ground and disintegrating the fragmented mountains.

A sea of purple light covered Apokolips. Though silent, when it faded, the entire planet was gone, leaving only stardust—and Alex and Darkseid.

Darkseid knelt in the void of space, staring at the destruction in utter despair. His planet, his glory, the empire he had built through hardowrk and cruelty—all shattered like a dream, leaving nothing behind.

"No! I'll kill you! Kill you!"

The ruler of the universe, the mightiest of the New Gods, charged at Alex like a madman, unleashing Omega Beams from his eyes with reckless abandon. But Alex simply absorbed them effortlessly. Even the destructive power of the beams was negated by his Reversal Curse Technique.

Seeing this, Darkseid changed tactics, screaming maniacally:

"Anti-Life Equation = loneliness + alienation + fear + despair + self-worth ÷ mockery ÷ condemnation ÷ misunderstanding x guilt x shame x failure x judgment n=y where y=hope and n=folly, love = lies, life = death, self = dark side!!"

This was undoubtedly the Anti-Life Equation. Any being who heard it would lose their free will and fall under the control of the speaker.

Darkseid glared hatefully at Alex, grinning maniacally as he noticed that Alex hadn't blocked his hearing.

No one could resist the Anti-Life Equation—not even this Earthling. Once he heard it, Darkseid could control him. Darkseid would torture this Earthling relentlessly and use his power to rebuild Apokolips.

But...

The excitement on Darkseid's face froze. The Earthling showed no signs of being affected by the Anti-Life Equation and instead looked back at him with a mocking expression.

Suddenly, Darkseid's vision blurred, and he found Alex standing directly in front of him. Instinctively, he tried to attack, but to his horror, he realized he couldn't move.

He was completely immobilized, trapped by a power far beyond his own limits!

His entire body trembled violently, his muscles convulsing, but he was powerless to act. All he could do was watch as Alex's hand gripped his head.

Then, with a sharp squeeze, accompanied by a burst of purple lightning, the ruler of the universe, the most powerful New God—Darkseid—was dead!
