After that she went to clean the other room without waiting for Sullivan to respond.
Sullivan could only shake his head before trying to open the book but.
"It's stuck. Why?"
He tried to use Nen but it was meaningless. He could force open it by pure physical strength but he was afraid that there would be something inside of it.

Sullivan trusted Hermione that she would not do something carelessly. When she got the hold on the book. She used many spells to inspect it.
She was surprised to find something by using magic.
Seeing her surprised face made Sullivan cautious. He was ready to take action if something bad happened.
"What's wrong Sis"
"This book is cursed!"
When he heard it. He went into action instantly.
"Cursed?! Let go of that book right now!"
Sullivan hit the book away and immediately checked on her hand hurriedly.
He without a second thought used his holy fire in order to purify her hand.
He was sure that his holy fire could destroy curses.
Hermione was more surprised than what she found in the book.
Looking at his panicked face and fear when he thought she was cursed by touching the book touched her heart very deeply.
"Are you okay! Are you hurt!"
Sullivan asked Hermione and when he saw she was smiling at him. He knew that she was okay and he was just being dramatic.
"Well It was cursed but It didn't seem to be contagious"
Sullivan let out a sigh of relief. He thought that she would have been cursed if she touched the book.
"And the surprise isn't that because the book was cursed but because it contains an ancient method in practicing Nen. The way we know about Nen right now wasn't much just from google as you call it."
Hermione then picked up the book on the floor. It was cursed alright but only for those who forcefully opened it without permission.
Fortunately. Hermione could read books without opening it. It wasn't the first time she had to deal with a book with curses.
"So what are you going to do with it?"

"Teach me? Why."
"This book contains a martial art called Shingen-ryu and about something called 100-Type Guanyin Bodhisattva. It would suit you well because you can use every type of Nen"
Hearing what inside the book almost cost him his sanity.
